This was so much fun to make! I used paint and water to create the original flower shapes. Then I used gloss gel and acrylic paint to make the impasto leaves. I love the 3D effect and the combination of art techniques. Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting!

Happy Mother's Day! Hug your family extra tight today. My life story is a bit interesting, to say the least. But that story will be for another day (maybe). Fabulous! I love the flowers so much. Color ideas. Violet and yellow flowers often grow together in nature, because the human eye finds it pleasing. If you haven't read Braiding Sweet grass, it has so much cool info on flowers

This is Gorgeous! This would look really cool with a faintly sea-sponged background using just the tip of the sea sponge with light green and light yellow. It’s beautiful the way it is though. 😊♥️

The flowers remind me of a side view of carnations. Lovely. Pink obviously is a favorite flower color, but orange and purple would be great. My favorite combination of colors in flowers, usually in roses, is yellow and deep reddish pink/magenta.

I have a favorite flower that is completely out of the norm...Black Bat Orchids, I believe the black, purples and bright greens of the flowers would be amazingly beautiful with a tangerine background

Gorgeous! I really like one flower being darker and one being lighter. Noone ever does that, they want matchy matchy, nature isn't perfect and that's what I like. After seeing the blooms, I had hoped you would have put a couple or so buds on the vines and larger leaves. If so, they would look just like morning glories. In fact, I've grown two varieties almost identical to the blooms and vines. I've got to try these myself! 😍 Beautiful!!!

I always loved the first painting you did of these flowers, I call morning glories, but this one with the dimensional leaves is amazing Molly!! I love this, Molly! I think I’ve seen you do this before but painting the leaves with a brush. I remember marvelling on your skill to maneuver the brush making leaves.
