My studio is in the basement. It’s a tiny room with no windows, walls painted black to keep the colored lights tight and bold, and surround by concrete walls which blocks all sounds from the outside. Lighting attached to ceiling so I never have to “set up” to record videos or worry about my dog knocking over lighting tripods. I love it.

Now thats what I call impressive, I have been a KZfaqr "Watcher" for many years - but now I am retired I have just started to upload my own videos and have a spare room to now Start setting up my own studio and Watching your video here, as given some good thoughts on how to lay out my own studio - Thank you for this, I really enjoyed it.... That landed near home. I also have to wait for my kids to go to bed to shoot (or wait until my wife takes them to some activity in the city :) ) I'll dedicate some effort to plan my space for shooting videos after I finish my 30-days-to-a-better-youtube course ;) Keeping a balance between content creation, daytime job, and family, it's never a boring experience

It looks awesome - what a great place! I chose a tiny basement room for my studio, but unfortunately it's always cold down there and there's absolutely no way to have my technical equipment there, so I don't use it as frequently as I wished while building it :/

I built my studio in a closet for less than $100 and I use my Smart phone for a camera.

Hi Tim I've been watching your videos for awhile. I have a big question that no one seems to be able to answer for me. Lately when I upload 4K music videos, the lips in the video are no longer lined up with the audio! This is a big problem! And I can't find any helps on how to fix it. I have tried uploading the video over again and run into the same problem. Please help!
