In the 867 start date, The Pagan Viking Norse rule the north in Crusader Kings 3! But what if I told you that there is one Viking that has the power to unite ALL of the Norsemen and become the FIRST KING OF NORWAY? That's right, none other than the LEGEND Harald Tanglehair! Soon to be Harald Fairhair!
So that's what we're going to explore today! As Koifish will play as the soon to be King of Norway, one of the strongest and most broken PAGAN Kingdom starts in all of CK3! I will of course be playing as the legendary Harald Tanglehair, the first King of Norway, mythical for his vow to never cut, brush or wash his hair until he fulfilled his oath to unify the vikings!
I will be using all the tips and tricks and strategies that I went over in my CK3 Lifestyle guide series, mainly focusing on Martial and Learning! I'm also playing with all the current CK3 DLC, Including Northern Lords, Royal Court, Fate of Iberia and Tours and Tournaments!
In this video I also use a strategy that I showcased in my Diplomacy Lifestyle Guide video! Diplomacy is the first out of five different Lifestyle focuses that you can pick for your character in Crusader Kings 3. But how GOOD is it? It's absolutely BROKEN! And in that guide I will teach you how to exploit diplomacy to conquer all of Scandinavia WITHOUT a single war!

Becoming king of Norway is a really fun play through. I did it just to gather up enough men to do a Varangian adventure because it’s relatively easy to conquer but I did feel like staying to see how it would play out. Definitely makes me want to go back and do another play throug

Really makes you appreciate how crazy it was that a rebellious teenager son of a no-name (he's no major character in the game after all) local chieftain who promised he'd never cut or comb his hair until he unified the whole land under his rule ACTUALLY kept to his word and succeeded, historically. By far my favorite character to play in CK3. Even though he isn't the best. I'm actually directly related to King Haraldr, on my mom's side. My grandma is like half Norwegian and after her, it's a direct link from son to father, to Harald's son Sigurd Rise.

Rollo of normandy lives in the north west of norway dont disturb him if you are confused try finding a chieftains son named (hrolf) who will make a northmen army and conquer the county of normandy in the future which is 904 or around that time. I think it was the county of sogn or north that hrolf lived and later was banished by haraldr fairhair who was a relative of his then rollo went to north of france and converted(not really) to settle in normandy then his sons and grand sons made normandy a duchy then kings of endland. (Wow what a story gotta make a roleplay out of it.)
