with this video, i announce that i won't be able to type anymore due to an index finger injury.
(yes, the index finger that i use for spacebar..)

Dunno how this even possible... you type QWERTY right, so do you you all of your fingers and follow the standard for what keys to press for each finger?

@@shazity Wow, that’s crazy. I use three in my left and two in my right but I never imagine reaching those speeds. I’m capped at 120. If you added a few fingers you would be godly. I’m trying to add more fingers because it’s also more ergonomic.

Hey Shazzy! I use the same typing style as you but I incorporate my left thumb for space? Do you have any advice on reaching up to 150WPM (im around 120 on 10fastfingers monkeytype) and 115 on nitrotype. I feel as if something is limiting me! And lastly is there any keyboards you could recommend to me for this typing style? Hope to hear from you soon.

@@shazity oh ok, I didn't see that initially. I also changed from left thumb spacing to right thumb but I might go back since if I start typing fast the space doesn't seem to register when i space with my right thumb. I think it's a probelm with me only being able to reach the corner of the space with my right thumb but far more of the space with my left thumb.

@@shazity If you can type 200 with index spacing, then I don't think spacing with my left thumb will severely reduce my speed in the long run.

@@shazity that's very reassuring, thanks. I didn't want to practice bad habits and regret it later if it became a burden. So I typed in ways that wasn't comfortable or slowed down my progress currently.

i mean even with normal 10 finger typing people get issues when they do it a lot... I can't imaging the pain of two racing index fingers lol

How are you so consistent? I use index spacing, and it just seems like such a mile away everytime yknow I get on and begin typing like my accuracy and speed is below 100, I usually average around 120, 140 on a super good day.

@@shazity Thank you! I recently switched over to thumb spacing and now get around 130 on monkeytype 15 seconds, but I still think my accuracy needs work, do you think there is any shortcuts to actually getting "good accuracy"

@@shazity Thank you man, also one last question how close is your keyboard, I found alot of people using a variety and I think it impacts your wpm or accuracy; eg: close, far, middle of your desk.
