I also needed 5 skins for a year which are Summer Sonic, Adventure Knuckles, Chef Amy, Riders Rouge and Riders Tails. So, firstly I got Adventure Knuckles which was in the spins and also, I unlocked Summer Sonic with the help of spins. And yes, lastly I got the other 3 by trading.

Super Sonic is the only skin which is not tradable. You could wait for a rerun of him or for him being on sale though.
