From the first episode I wished Drae used the campfire to make coal from wood! Edit: You can also use the campfire to cook apples for apple pie and also cook sheep for meat

Pretty sure you can put your guys in the train were passengers go, I saw a pop-up when walking by, if you have one driving one inside and one you control with the excavator you don’t need to micro to much! ( to clarify I don’t know what it precisely does, it says board train and earn 10 coins, you might lose the guy ( the pop-up is at 2:45))

That was my thought too, why you have "passenger carriage" if no one onboard? I don't play the game but i think the "tower defense" on top of the carriage also let the passenger to shoot from it, hence the name. How long until Drae finally notice that? Like when he have to put down the smelter from the train to make some iron, i was like "why the hell he do that?" 😅

Didn't the old coal one go backwards, too? I'm not certain, but I thought he did that once. The problem is, going backwards is really only useful if you screwed up AND wastes resources so may not be worth it regardless. The game is kinda poorly designed in that aspect as well as the "danger zone" mechanic. It's not difficult for any particular mechanics reason, it's just difficult because someone made it that way (IE very little water, very little coal, stuff can drop in the danger zone but you dint really have a reliable way to get it all the time, mechanics poorly/unexplained, etc....)

Those pipes suck out 1 oil and throw it in the train or excavator in your case. Sadly these only hold 1 oil so yes, you basically wasted at least 10 oil

Kinda, but it's not super obvious like you make it sound. Which is why that stuff needs to be properly explained, but 90% of devs don't get tutorials right. They're usually either "Here, dummy! Let me explain how to count to 3" or "here's a rocket, figure it out" with very few options on the median.

Obviously it didn't my mind was on the Oil needed a way to be stored. Like every other node I assume it popped out on the ground so why would I assume I now need a external storage?

@@drae maybe i played too many automation games or something then lol :) its the first thing that crossed my mind when i saw it needed storage. since others responded agreeing it wasnt obvious, it was probably just me / my experiences or something. i meant no ill will or offense or anything with the post :) it was said lovingly/jokingly :) it was probably only my first thought since im just so use to machines/conveyors having internal or direct tanks to fuel them, but needing a spot to put the results (even when not "needed", like hydroneer machines/conveyors directly powered, but theres a mess if you dont put a bucket under the export... or satisfactory machines powered by lines but need to connect conveyors to storage, etc) Thanks for replying to the post drae! i feel special with a youtuber reply, im sorry if my message sounded mean or condescending or something, it wasnt intended to be :)

@@drae Obviously a lot of factors are taken into consideration on what one makes with 2.5 million subs and I wasn't 100% serious. I do know it's more than 100k a year playing video games and you really can't beat that. I make 100k a year, hate my job, super stressful and there is no end in sight. Good on you.
