I enjoy watching Competitive Pokémon content about seeing how new Pokémon might do in the meta despite not playing any myself. I just think seeing the strategies that can be built is interesting. But I usually dont watch any battles. It just seemed so impossible to decipher. But you made this battle really easy to follow and did a great job showing how you made your decisions based on the situation. Really hope to see more content like this alongside your other great videos.

The team building is really interesting! I can understand why each Pokemon was chosen. The only time I've ever built a team in this way would be my Sap Sipper Farigiraf joke team in which I saw Farigiraf's hidden ability and challenged myself to make it work in a doubles format. I decided on Espeon and Dragapult to set up screens and provide early chip damage through speed and Dragapult's Dragon Tail, before going into Torkal and Farigiraf and having Torkal use Solar Beam on Farigiraf to activate Sap Sipper. Then I had Clawitzer to provide Heal Pulse support due to it's ability. And finally Kilowattrel due to it's typing to help clean up later game. It's not a perfect team, but it was a lot of fun. I'd love to rework it some time.

Really enjoy your videos, very well produced and great explanations. I never realised that pokemon combat was so complex. However, most of it goes over my head (despite your excellent explanations) - is there an introduction to the core concepts and strategies that you'd recommend? Even small things, like in some Gens/Formats (?) not revealing your team too early is key, but here it seems like you could see the entire enemy team right from the start?
