I USED PASTA SAUCE 2 WAYS FOR DINNER AND LOVED THE RESULTS
some humans in my family like rice over pasta and others both so I made a chicken pasta sauce for both the pasta and some sort of Jollof
CHICKEN PASTA SAUCE
Ingredients:
3 chicken leg quarters cut into pieces
1 cup sliced onion
medium green bell pepper (sliced)
1/4 cup chopped basil
1/4 cup oil
2 tsp curry powder
2 Tbsp chicken bouillon powder
Goya sazon
6 oz tomato paste
12 oz basil tomato pasta sauce (I used half the jar)
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp baking soda
1. Add oil to your hot pot, let it heat up then add your curry powder to create an aromatic base for the sauce
2. Add in your chicken pieces and season with bouillon, Goya sazon
3. Add your sliced onions, green bell peppers and chopped basil and stir
4. Pour in your tomato basil pasta sauce and tomato paste after onion turns clear
5. Season with black pepper and baking soda, taste for salt
6. Let it cook (sauce is done when the oil begins to separate from the sauce)
7. Add sauce to pasta that has been cooked Al dente
Serve and enjoy!
