My memory with blackberry was that I always wanted to have one. By the time my parents decided to gift me a mobile, Android was already selling in majority, so I purchased a Samsung. Then Redmi then Asus and Now again Samsung. S21+. I could just use blackberry once or twice. It was really a premium thing to own in my childhood

Blackberry was a status symbol (even more than what apple phones are now) back in the last part of the first decade of this century (2008-2010) and I also wanted to own one. Finally, after saving some money I bought the Blackberry Bold 9000 a few days before leaving Dubai forever. It already was a rage with my colleagues in Dubai office, what with its sleek sophisticated leather pouch and leather look back panel (it even had a roller mouse in the centre), and when I moved to India I instantly found lot of takers for it. I wasn't even in a mood to sell it, but then someone offered me such a good price that I fell for the temptation. Today I have mixed feelings for parting with it. I know I got a good price for it, but I also know I let go of a piece of history. Hope whoever has that phone has kept it alive till date. Thanks for making me relive those days.

Please come back Blackberry with their legendary qwerty keypad phones 🙏 I have golden memories with Blackberry phones ... My Grandfather gifted me Blackberry 9800 in 2012 (i guess) ......It is one of my favourite phone till now .... ...but the problem is that the phone is completely dead ..... Due to spare parts issues no service center or mobile mechanic can repair it 😔

For a long time I used Blackberry's then flagship Bold. It was indeed a device that oozed quality. Android was still not there in budget and iphone was something most of us couldn't afford in our early years of college back in 2012-13. Still remember Curve was quiet popular and many of us aspired to have one. Facebook and WhatsApp ran flawlessly on the BB so it never was a huge problem. By the time IG started gaining popularity in 2014-15 the Moto G and E were introduced and made the Android adoption for us college students faster. Hahaha Redmi, Asus changed the game along with the Samsung and Moto. BB saw a slow death.

Have used Blackberry Z30 over 8 years ago and can tell how much I loved the device. Blackberry Hub, Blackberry keyboard and other features were very good. If only Blackberry had apps available, I think they would have done great. Blackberry Z30 is still one of my favourite devices that I have used so far and will remain so in future as well.

I used BlackBerry once. Let me tell you one thing There's no such OS or Mobile brand that make you feel prestigious as BlackBerry does. It's OS is it's power and I must admit, it gives you a feeling that you are something extraordinary or special in the crowd. The way it was designed was just tremendous. The interface and smooth switching between apps is still a mystery, cos it's way too smooth. Yes they have limited apps They don't support ANDROID But when you run an app that is compatible with BB OS, trust me, it would be a world class experience. Even Iphone can't give you that feeling.

I owned Z30 in 2013. That was awesome phone from BlackBerry. It was very smooth till second year of use and then it's performance a little degraded. But still I hold a very special place for BlackBerry phones in my heart.

Hi Sanchit, Way back in 2012 have purchased my 1st Blackberry phone which was BB Bold 3,and at that time using blackberry was a rage for its BBM services than later we shifted to Android and from Android to iOS and now we are stuck with iphones due to there superlative hardware and software integration currently using iphone 13 Promax

If BB launches more products that run on Android, then I will definitely shift from my current iPhone to try it... I used to be a BB user, and I loved the feel of the BB with its physical qwerty keypad, in fact it was hard for me to move from the BB to another phone, my fave was the BB storm with the slide back keyboard... I really wish they come back with an innovative phone competitive with other Androids keeping the BB character to a certain extent..

That expensive recharge for BBM, the small notification blinking light, the touch sensor cursor (of course this was their USP) , the soft dimming of keypad light was something which made this phone stand out amongst the rest. In 12th purchase blackberry torch... This actually made me feel like super rich ( considering the facts prevalent at that time)..... How can one forget about the audip output quality..... Actually mid 90's generation kids have witnessed the era of Nokia 1100 to Nokia 6300 to N- Series and Lumia series ...... The iconic era where we switched gradually from orkut to nimbuzz to gradually towards facetime..... We have witnessed the time when chinese mobile phone dominated the market due to their ultimate unmatched features offered at that time like 5mp camera, a laggy stylus, 4 sim slot , a 1gb memory carf and not to forget about their UHD surround sound quality as well...... Those were the days ❤️❤️ I would have definitely gone with Blackberry without a second thought if they match today's required software and other updates..

I still owned a Blackberry 9790 in fantastic condition, but now its calling services not operational, No Apps supports. Now I using it for morning alarm. But huge fan of its keypad. 👌🏼

I had BB z10 at some sort of time,, and i guess i have used it for roughly a year and half,, i had a very wonderful experience with that smartphone,, everything was very different and over the time, i got used to everything it had,, it was having a dual-core processor,, which when compared to other smartphones of that time had octa-core ,, but seriously, i have never faced any kind of performance issues,, although the apps were very limited,, but most of the daily driver apps were there,, so it never bothered me about that,, plus it also had the option to run android apps, but they were not really optimised for the same, coz of which there were several app crashes.. and those third party apps never ran peacefully,, but overall it was a great experience,, i would love to buy another one if i’ll get an opportunity to do so.

My memory is that i already had both of these BlackBerry devices and a BlackBerry bold as well. I used Bold while my father used the other two. It was a piece of art but sadly couldn't keep up with the ongoing competition. Me and my father still crave for a good BlackBerry device

When the BlackBerry Z10 launched it was already clear where the smartphone future was headed and they were a bit too late. I remember that went to a mall and found a z10 in display section and had a fun time exploring the gestures of the OS. They were unlike anything else at that point and regardless of the OS being good or bad, it was fun and interesting to say to the least.

I had used both Q10 & 9220 😍😘 But my first BlackBerry phone was Curve 8520 and I still remember my BB Curve 9220's BBM pin 29F19CC1 Nd BlackBerry is still my favourite Brand

As you said it does carry an attitude i do use an Blackberry Keyone its an amazing phone. Whenever i go out for a meeting People do feel the attitude of having an Blackberry. Its a Class carrying phone. I really wish blackberry should come with a collaboration.

I think blackberry still has fan base. If they could provide better specifications with their best keyboard like bb bold they can still do it. Blackberry failed in Android because it was not value for money. I bought bb key1 @40000. With snapdragon 625 which i already used in moto g5 plus which priced less than half of bb key1. Even key2 was no big upgrade.

I have used over 7 model of BB. I have learnt repairing it because BB service centre wasn’t here in our city Agartala. I used to change the facial/the body myself.

At that time Balckberry and Apple were classy phones. I really miss blackberry but yes that BBM concept was not that user friendly. Apple at last made it's iOS user friendly where BBM lacked. So many memories are there.

My memory with BlackBerry Bold 3 was that i was BBM guy. Me and my group was connect on BBM and play BBM Ping game!! BlackBerry was and is my all time favourite phone. As you said "BlackBerry Is full of attitude and confidence" its true. BOLD 3. If is future BlackBerry comes back i would prefer buying their Key2 or present. BBM you are missed. :(

My first mobile was Blackberry Torch 9810..It was in 2015 and phone was 4G! Had lots of memories with the phone..Just looking at the phone whenever I took it out of the pocket,the people's reaction was Wow. Everyday I had to reboot the phone in the morning and that habbit I still have.Everyday in the morning,I restart my android phone😂😂..The phone was Iconic and I will still prefer Blackberry over all the mobiles of the present day

I used to play ‘The Hangman’ in my brother’s blackberry phone .. n i loved that touch censor in middle of the keypad

I had also used BlackBerry Curve 9220 at 2012 as it was launched.. After 2 years of usage I had to shift to Android phones Samsung.. Due to big screen and lots of apps.. The rubberized material was also getting torn of from its place.. In all the phone was not reliable for long term in every way.. I still have the phone with me but had to throw battery as that also had got swollen up.. After Samsung I purchased Nokia Lumia 720 used this for 3 or 4 years but here too apps were limited and it did start to hang up and used to get stuck. Had to restart phone to work properly lasted till 2016 then Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was getting popular had that again used for 3 years max had to shift because its camera was not good as the years passed and phone's loudspeaker had been changed 3 times within warranty at Hyderabad where they were lacking spare parts at that time for this model.. 2019 bought Realme 3pro which till today is with me.. Just changed mobile battery at Dec22.. Till now I am satisfied by this Mobile.. Above all handsets are still with me as memory as how technology changed in these past 11 to 12 years..

I believe phones like Blackberry & Nokia Lumia had & still has the good potential to grow back. They failed because of their lacking supportability in today’s competitive market. If they can create a good ecosystem & supportability of huge collection of apps. Their existing goodwill will do the rest to bring them on track like an winner once again. Even they don’t have to sell the crisis issue to the customers like Nothing phone did as because people already knows Blackberry & Nokia.
