Finally made it to S Rank 26 on XBOX

Too many tanks and heavy bipeds in my S promo. On my third attempt I embraced the “Laser Swap Build” and I melted every pilot I fought.

I was wondering why people weren't using coral damage against tanks. Unless the pilot is Takawa himself, a lot of tank players are very sluggish meaning the coral projectiles can catch them very easily. Coral damage being unmidigated by resistances makes it very good against builds that sacrifice mobility for defense rating. Also, that hate message from the Laser Canon tank player was just *chefs kiss*.

I got messaged by that same guy calling me a meta slave shortly after release when I almost beat his double Zimm assault boost heavy with my campaign AC (light laser pistol) back before lightweights got buffed💀 Figures that he made S rank with an LCB tank

The game is weird cause all the cool looking weapons and parts don't help you win so you gotta look all weird and use the least cool weapons to gain rank or will. It's such a bummer. At A rank everyone has at least 2 heat seeking missles and whatever ragtag gun the can muster up to gwt a stagger. A large varsity of the weapons aren't used I feel like

Yeah. You’re right. We can only hope fromsoft listens to the players and nerf things that are too powerful and buff other weapons/parts for more diversity 😎 in the future

It honestly feels like a conflict of interest between Fromsoftware and their AC fans. FS wants to make mecha, but they don't want to just make Gundam clones. They want to have a unique visual identity, however most parts that the players think are cool are very Gundam/shonen anime style cool.

@brothadahkness Or you can be an absolute LEGEND like Dez, and run a double noodle double truenos from week one of armored core, never change after balance patches, and continuously place high in tournaments and reach S in week one. What a unit.

Nice fights! Love the gold and black look on your AC. I've got a BVO/6C Rocket setup right now I've had decent success with, but I might try my luck with this build.

problem with this game is shotgun is better than everything and the weapons have almost zero balancing on effectiveness.

Not everything, the Vientos have high damage/stagger for very light weight handguns, and the energy rifles showcased in this build have seen action on laser tanks as well as this energy/plasma swap build. Zimmermans are powerful and have outrageous burst potential, but if you’re able to watch the arm’s movement or listen for the sound it’s possible to dodge their shots, and missing even one shot against someone running handguns like dockets or Vientos can get dicey.
