For the first time ever, we are able to use Mega Rayquaza which is currently the strongest flying type Pokemon to use against Virizion. Today, we take up the challenge to solo Virizion with 4 Rayquazas with Dragon Ascent, and this was how it went...

If you want to go for the no weather boost solo, you absolutely have to keep reviving Mega Rayquaza. Only let your regular Rayquaza at the back of your last team as an anchor, or the dps is just not gonna be enough. Ideally I'd say two relobbies for that

yes... he need to use only Mega Rayquaza, as soon as Mega Ray dies he must be fast on relobby , using max revive and use Mega RAY again

Simple.In order for 1v1 solo to NWB only recycle Mega ray.Using another ray just loses dps n time since its very close you want optimal dps.Did it already with mega ray non boost

I think this was doable with your Mega. But you'd probably needed to bring it alone to lobby without other Pokemon. Still it would be tight, but should give you more time.

I've tried 6 times on soloing it with Lv49.5 Mega Rayquaza all different playstyles from No Dodging to Charged-Attack Dodging. What I found was: 1) No dodging is 90% (3 relobbies) 2) Charged Dodging is 95% (1 relobby) Yeah, it is impossible to solo without 2nd Dragon Ascent Rayquaza or Windy weather

as long as you stay below 3 relobbies and with only mild dodging you should be able to solo it with a little bit of luck. Ive recently done it after 10 attempts or so so i can confirm it is in fact possible. pro tip: use the top left exit instead of waiting for the ray to die for a faster relobby, so put a second mon in your party for that specific purpose

@@coolbro280 Not for me, 8 times now and even then it is had like 5% HP. Did the no-pokemon group to get extra time, and quick hyper potion (I always use retreat option on top left) but it is still impossible for me. I wonder, why my Mega Rayquaza deals less damage than the ones in solo videos?

U should be fine ,did it with 16 secs left highest time so far.As long as 2 relobbies lesser chance of health regen on the lobbies.

yeah, 1 extra level which is like 2 powerups. not a big difference but it adds up in raids

Perfect choice would be also to move Mega Rayq to lvl 51 as your buddy ad use it that way.

Whhheeeen did they buff 5 star raids?!?!? I took a break for like about five months, and when I came back recently, I just failed a solo virizion raid, which I’m pretty sure I could do in the past. Weather boost and shadow moltres with sky attack… still failed it

DId you solo it with remote raid pass? I dont think we have remote raid damage boost this season, we have the one from friend allys - but since you soloed it you couldnt get it.

What u put the shadow moltres in the front, I guess u can do more wing attack fast move before get hit by charge move compare with rayquaza air slash. Or using dragon tail, as gamepress show dragon tail + dragon ascent are higher ER value

Air slash is double super effective whereas Dragon tail is neutral. Even if Dragon tail is better by raw stats, it doesn't even come close to overturning such a type disadvantage

Brandon almost never dodges lol, even when its optimal he doesnt and then wonders why he cant solo or his pokemon are all dead

I already have 3 shinies virzion didnt even have to raid got it from battle league 😂 and its a 98. Also have 3 cobalion shiny so i have no reason to go super hard on raids until garchomp and mega kangakhan cause i really want the shiny hoping too

The problem was not weather boost but remote raid pass. Using it, you have less damage than using regular or premium.

It's not true. It was never true. It was intended to be eventually true, we kept having seasonal bonuses to negate it and eventually niantic announced it would be permanently the same

This is factually incorrect. The remote raid nerf damage-wise was never applied, and Niantic did at one point make a statment about it being permanent, attempting to balance it with price increase/daily limit

@@savitajoshi1092Level 51 Mega Rayquaza has 58.6 dps il neutral weather, which means that even if it lasted the whole 300 seconds without any need to dodge nor to relobby, it would still be a minimal 256 seconds kill time. 70+ seconds left is not possible.
