the Mirage Blade technically is doing a Stinger, because a Stinger is a LUNGE at the Enemy, the Mirage Blade is LUNGING at the target so, it's a Stinger :troll:

Theres actually a glitch with deep stinger that allows you to use it indefinitely even once you run out of SDT. You need to mash the input for deep stinger as it ends and Vergil will begin another one. when done properly you wont even exit SDT even if your gage runs out, you can also do JCE or hell on earth out of deep stinger even if youre out of SDT.

you can do a "stingers" with Dante sword that works mid air, you just need to play swordmaster style

Until yesterday, I had no idea how to fight furies aside from spamming moves until they died. Having fought them with deep stinger, I can safely say that the only hard part now is keeping enough sin trigger on hand for them. Thank you for giving me a crippling deep stinger addiction.

Just void spam Does lots of damage and slow them down so you could hit them again with void slash. You can just cheese this forever in the early stages

I know this comment is old as fuck, but I just learned a great way to deal with furys. Just equip beaowolf and have the technique that makes jumping do damage and if u jump when they teleport towards you you'll parry them easy asf every time. It's great

Fact about vergil stinger: you can shoot summoned sword as you stinger an enemy so that you can prevent the enemy fliying away to keep them in the same place and do combos (stinger is usually supposed to send enemies flying which kinda makes it hard to combo after stinger)

I know about sin stinger, it just would have been a big commitment to charge up SDT for every flying enemy haha. Then again people also brought up Stingers with the phantom swords which also would have worked, but when I think stinger I think of the tried and true animation and I liked that Vergil could just do that in the air lol

stinger is not a secret technique though, anyone who's new to dmc series will find stinger so good to use and will most probably spam stinger until some point of time they realize they cant get stylish from repeatedly doing the same combo and decided to dive into advaced fighting style of dmc. For artemis with vergil, u can actually triple just released judgement cut it and it will be down within 30 secs even with dmd, using air stinger is lesser efficient and u cant earn stylish points

Check and see if it says "Auto" in the top right of your game when you're playing. That means Auto-assist is turned on and will automatically switch weapons and do various moves for you. The hotkey to turn it off is holding in on the right stick, alternatively you can find the option in the game settings menu
