Yooo samsies~ I'm also studying psychology :) Start of the semester is always rough, trying to get used to classes etc, but just gotta remind yourself that even if you fail a course, it's not the end of anything. (Unless school in America is different, then I don't know what to say...) Great to see you get so inspired~ Makes me want to try something new too

YAAAAY psychology buddy hahah! You're so right - I've been making a habit as part of this whole fear-confronting turn of mine to imagine worst case scenarios and get comfortable with them rather than letting them terrify me. Makes that fear of failure a lot more manageable ☺ I definitely encourage you to try something new, it's really confidence-boosting! And slowly dismantling my perfectionist agenda 🤣

I'm so glad you talked about the sexual assault because I felt so alone and shameful and I have been having such terrible panic attacks about it and crying. Thank you for sharing.

Words can't express how sorry I am that you have experienced this as well... you are absolutely not alone, and feeling ashamed is so common even though it shouldn't be. If you want to talk, please feel free to reach out to me through Instagram. If you can get into it, therapy has done wonders for me in overcoming my trauma. There are a lot of therapists and mental health clinics that will work with you for free or nearly free, you usually just need to reach out and explain your position. RAINN is also a fantastic resource and has a 24/7 crisis hotline (www.rainn.org/resources -- 1-800-656-4673). Wishing you peace and healing friend, it's a battle to overcome and it often feels impossible but I promise it isn't.

i have been wondering where you’ve been, but i knew there had to be a reason why. 🥺 i’m so beyond sorry you had to go through that. 😔 words cannot express how upsetting it is that you feel unsafe being a woman. it’s incredible you were able to think everything through, including your fears, and grow yourself from it!! even though what happened to you should’ve never happened, it prompted you to self reflect, and take self defense classes!! 😊 so beyond proud of you 🥺☺️💖💓

Men make me highly uncomfortable so I get you. I am 5’8 with a mean mug so it doesn’t happen often in more public situations but I get you hard. I’m so sorry you had to go through that.

So awesome to pursue a degree in psych ! I have mine and am doing a masters program stating the 13th!!! Being nervous is understandable but you are so smart and passionate you got this!! Here if u ever need help/ wanna talk psychology :o)
