I don't see any point ANYMORE in buying ridiculously expensive perfumes. Not because I don't have enough money or I don't really like perfumes, but ESPECIALLY because I am into fragrances I KNOW that most of them are not worth it in terms of ingredients, projection and longevity, I just feel stupid and victim, to pay an EXTRA for something that is not worth it. I'm bored with the sooooo expensive perfumes !! even they copy others sooooo frustrating. You should do more of the middle eastern ones because, they're is no way I'm gonna spend another 300$+++ on a perfume ... never again . paid 650 us dollars for a fragrance that now everybody is wearing . I only watch middle eastern fragrances videos now and I ' m pretty sure I'm not the only one ;-) big love from montreal canada

Regarding Tariaq , I did not like it the first month or so trust me when I tell you when it macerates it’s a completely different fragrance and with these Middle Eastern fragrances because they’re produced in such high volumes and immediately distributed without any maceration time all of these Middle Eastern fragrances do need to macerate and they turn into beautiful gems I absolutely did not like Tariaq at first and it’s absolutely one of my favorites now please hang onto it let it masquerade and come back to us in a month or two and let us know what you think

Hello gabby love your video. I bought 2 niche fragrance and am now in a rabbit hole of middle eastern perfumes. I have khair in my collection and love it. I would love to know your thoughts on lattafa badee al oud sublime, shaghaf oud tonka, taskeen caramel cascade and afnan mystique bouquet. It’s refreshing to see your reaction and admitting to being a niche snob but getting really excited over khamrah. I hope you do more videos like this in the future 😊

YES Gabby , Paulina virtually covered all the most praised and valued (not just hyped!) perfumes in the perfume community ! Her last 2 videos rating all middle eastern fragrances is A MUST SEE !! The only ones she didn't mention are VIBRANT VETIVER DELIGHT (Bal D'Afrique dupe) and Orange&Neeroli (Sundazed) from Paris Corner and Mohra Silky Rose (Penhaligons FAVOURITE) dupe .....and original TASKEEN MARINA !

Great video!i have that mango fragrance and love it along with khair. If you want another great summer fresh fruity middle eastern perfume that is so good check out lataffa mayar natural intense. You need to let thses sit also and they get better with time.i have a feeling that cotton candy musk perfume you got is going to get sweeter with time.i may grab that one.thanks for the video.😊❤

Layer Yara the pink one by lattafa with libre by YSL or Libra by lattafa. But not on top of each other but near each other. you will be shocked by how this layering is beautiful 😍😍😍

The original Dirham, the green one, is a fantastic one on my husband and it was only £12! It lasts all day. We sampled a bunch from Orientica, which didn't work on my skin at all but they all smelled great on him.

Khamrah has been hands down the best, I so agree with you. 🌸I recently bought one that is being hyped Amberythme and I hoped it was more boozy, different amber less sweet but with character but it is also identical with Khamrah. They state there's bacharah rouge and angel share in the mix.😮😅 You said it right about people telling every fragrance now has bacharah rouge.

I have Ajayeb Dubai portrait. I sort of liked it at first, but it improved after a couple of weeks maceration & now I love it! Also love Khamrah. Yes the pistachio one and kamrah qahwa are a must. Sorry don’t even know if I spelled that right lol. I have been on a middle eastern frenzy lately and I have bought sooooooo much within the last 3 months. I definitely recommend Delilah, and Reyna which dupe de Marley perfumes. Musamam white intense, taskeen marina, mayar natural intense, just to name a few 😊

I have Ajayeb Dubai Portrait (white bottle) and Ajayeb Dubai (black bottle), I like the black bottle better. To me ADP smells like the actual skin from a mango, I'm going to let it macerate for a month to see if the scent changes . Great video and TFS!

I agree with you 💯 that Khamra smells amazing and it’s much better than Angels Share. I also don’t like Angels Share and it was very male leaning on me and didn’t last. Khamra is so good 😍 I passed on Qahwa because I think it’s redundant.

Gabby which khamrah smells less oud or woodsy?? I don’t know which one to buy 😢 I just moved to the UAE and honestly I cant stand oud perfumes they give me the worst headache 😭😭 plus I feel like here most locals smell the same ( like an oud version of baccarat rouge) I swear I smell the same oud perfume everywhere I go :/

Hi Gabby, thank you for an interesting review, by the way, Ajayeb Dubai Lattafa black bottle is not the same perfume as white bottle, white bottle is mango, while black one is coffee perfume, also name differs, white bottle is called Ajayeb Dubai Portrait. I got white bottle and I agree with you - it absolutely beautiful and juicy mango perfume!

Give Teriaq a month to macerate. I was very disappointed when I first sprayed it. It was too leathery and I thought I would give it away. I sprayed it yesterday and it smelled so good! My neighbor caught a whiff of me outside and asked me what smelled so good? I have close to 200 fragrances, but I rarely get compliments. I just don’t really hold onto fragrance for long. A few sprays of Teriaq lasted all day without being overwhelming.

Your comment summarizes everything I felt when I sprayed Teriaq the first time. I was disappointed and I considered giving it away. I got it two weeks ago and haven't touched it ever since. I will try what you said and hopefully the leathery part will tone down at least a little bit.

Lattafa khamrah is the perfume I heard about and it was very niche where I lived when I bought it around october/november. Now everybody wears it, every day I smell it whether in town, public transport or at college. And it is so unflattering in this climate, totally not a spring scent AT ALL. It's starting to make me nauseaus and I have a full bottle still.....

Sis it two different fragrances. Ajayeb dubai portrait is the white one and Ajayeb Dubai is the black one. The black is a butterscotch type of perfume while the white one is the mango version. Great selections love. I have most of these

Yeah, the black one is in the same genre as Black Phantom I believe. Not exactly the same but kinda in the same style… the white bottle is actually called Ajayeb Dubai Portrait and the black is just Ajayeb Dubai…

Oh no Khamrah is horrible, especially when worn. I love angels share and I ended up buying it after being so disappointed with Khamrah. Khamrah Has a gross I don’t know if it is oud or body odor or something that is supposed to be a spice, but it’s like cumin and it is gross I hate it. Have you actually worn it? That would be the real test.

You kinda have an attitude about middle eastern fragrances or am I taking it wrong🤔you ask “how” they can make them so good for the price??? That’s simple 🤣🤣🤣shows just how much you’re paying for the designer or niche name NOT the actual perfume itself…duh…shows the ridiculous markup! The niche snob in me doesn't want for you too to fall in this world. Honestly, I do prefer niche, and everyone nowadays talks only about arabic perfumes, and it is boring already. I do prefer to hear about new niche that have a story behind them, not just the copy paste or the "better" version at an affordable price. Even if I will not buy full bottles of them, it's very interesting to see what they came out with. Please stick more to niche,I'm full of arabic ones, it's just a trend that will pass, just like mostly the designer one did.

Niche snobs like you really suck the joy out of enjoying perfumes and turn it into a performance of uncultured arrogance and pompous display of materialism under the guise of liking fine things. The story behind ‘niche fragrances’ for most brands is a made up marketing tactic, very few do actually offer a history behind their perfumes or houses so thats a nun sequitur. You don’t even buy full of bottles of either types of perfumes (which btw arab perfumes are NICHE! Because niche and luxury aren’t synonymous, niche relates to only doing perfumes, if anything most arab houses have luxury lines and brands they don’t sell to western markets.) Arab fragrances aren’t really a trend when most houses predate certain designer and luxury niches houses. They’re probably as old if not older than you. Also most arab houses use the same nose as the niche houses that why they have access to ingredients that are exclusively patented by givaudin and other agencies. Also designer and niche brands have copied each other since their inception, and trust me people are glad that houses like mancera copied aventus with their cedrat boisé. Your complaint could be boiled down to i can’t enjoy faking being cultured by sucking up to luxury goods and the image and fantasy they offer even tho i financially don’t support it myself and if other houses can have the same fragrances at a much lower cost this exposes how luxury is nothing but a cloud of smoke, masquerade and that owning anything from them does not make me in fact any better than anybody else. If you were really about the artistry you’d focus on the scent not the brand or the brand classification cus at the end of the day the perfume world is an industry so its more focused on profit than art and thats coming from someone who live in a country that is known for their parfum, someone who will buy luxury niche and designer and arab niche fragrances cus its about the scent and how it makes me feel not the made up story written to by their communication dept lol. Its perfume, its not that serious.
