Bro... The fact she opened her eyes when her owner closes them for last time is really sad, she deserves more love

It's based on a folk legend where the doll takes half your life force to become more human. You just age faster in most cases but they can be like friends

I think the best part is how you watch the doll become a "real girl" in the final part, when she, for the first time, opens her eyes
@gryla5290 Жыл бұрын
I thought that was her previous life, before she became a doll 😦

It looks like she took your life for that tho, as she closes your eyes in the end..

so it started from the girl as a toddler, then a teen, then an old woman?

@@D.Aniel89 no, looks like she was standing by someone who was on their death bed. And it seems like she said "oyasumi"

Its actually a folk legend about some certain cursed hinamatsu oningyou(?) That drain the "life force" of her owner, cut their life by half, the more life she drain the more human and lifelier she is.

Reminds me of my dad's mom's creations. She passed away when I was little and I still remember this. The shelves of her workspace filled with grinning gremlin dolls smiling down. They looked like goblins and fairies.
