I 100000% agree that Be Our Guest is NOT worth using 2 dining credits! The math doesn't make sense, you end up spending about the same amount of money as you would at a one credit table service! Something no one ever seems to talk about but people need to be aware of is that the different dining plans allow you to get different things at table service restaurants.. what I mean by that is that some dining plans you get an entree and dessert but other dining plans you get an appetizer, entree, and dessert. That adds up to a lot of food very quickly, you really need to look at the fine print and consider how much you realistically eat and don't forget that if you're trying to get the biggest bang for your buck out of your snack credits some of your snacks are going to be rather large too.

Thanks for keeping up the content on your page, Molly. So glad you're keeping the magic alive. Wanted to add: - Mama Melrose and Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Packages are both 1-credit meals. The Fantasmic Package at Hollywood Brown Derby is 2 credits. - The Rivers of Light Dining Package at Tusker House is 1 credit and at Tiffins it is 2 credits. - The Festival of Fantasy Parade Package at Tony's Town Square is 1 credit. - The Tier 2 Festival of the Lion King Dining Plan at Tiffins is 2 credits. - Concert dinner packages at Epcot are 2 credits. Those are all I can think of for now. Our favorite has been the 1 credit Tony's Town Square Parade Package.

For the dining plan, Molly is 100% correct in you need to determine what you are going to do there. Ahead of time you can reserve sit down dining so that will give you an idea of what you are going to do. Since my family mostly wanted to keep moving, we kept the dining at a minimum except for 1 sit down and all the rest were just quick. Our sit down was Be Our Guest, and the food was OK, but definitely not really worth the $74 I paid for 4 meals. Plus, we didn't really plan where we were going to be on every day as we liked the mystery of not knowing, or maybe we would have been in the mood for something else. So, we opted not to buy into even the quick dining plan and instead just purchased as we went. Since Florida is hot, we mainly would drink water through most of the day, and since it is free, no charge there. So, after all that, we actually ended up spending on average $39 per person per day for my family of 4 and we came in well under what they would have charged us for the quick plan. That's just my 2 cents worth.

I have always been happiest eating an energy bar for breakfast on the way to the parks, brunch at the earliest lunch time, early dinner at the earliest dinner time and a snack later, possibly at a higher end restaurant's bar. This is the very best way to avoid crowds and these early times are also easier for getting table service reservations. You can then experience attractions while everyone else is eating.

When the parks are open again you should do a challenge to see how long it takes to do “everything” per land. How long each location takes to ride everything, explore each shop, watch each show, walk around the scenery & maybe get served in each restaurant.

You missed that the deluxe plan does include appetizer and desert at each meal in addition to entree and beverage.

Molly should do what sounvenirs she recommends or ears are her favorite What funny things to ask or say to each character And how long it takes to ride each ride with no fast passes

I love the dining plan, but then again I love Disney food and the opportunity to try lots of different things but budget for it ahead of time and know it is all paid when I go. Love these Q & A sessions, you need to keep that as a regular slot in the future

I used the QS dining plan in February and for me it wasn't worth it. I had 2 meals and 3 snacks at the end of my stay so ended up bringing home a ton of snacks. I also felt I had to order the most expensive thing to get the value when I may have just wanted something small. So next trip im going to put the cost of each days dining plan on a disney gift card and use that for my meals so that I have the money put aside

Wolfgang Puck Express is a great use of quick service credits. The meals are more expensive and really good.

I did do the dining plan with the Table service, Quick service and 2 snacks a day. You are right Molly, if your a family that likes to eat, its worth it. On the other hand, the gratuitys are not included and I must of spent an additional $200 for the 5 nights I was there. Safe to say, im just going to stick with quick service meals. I do think Be Our Guest for dinner is worth the two credits at least once just for the atmosphere and to meet/ take a photo with the Beast after your meal. We have dined at be our guest for both Lunch and dinner and we did prefer the dinner experience.

A much better use of the "extra" QS credit is to go to your resort's food court, go to the refrigerator section and get a sandwich and a snack such as a cupcake packaged to go and eat that for your lunch at the airport or on your way home. This way, you are using the food as an actual meal you would otherwise pay extra for and you are not wasting the QS credit.

Great Snack Credit Use: if there is a festival at Epcot most the food in the booths are snack credits.

In my experience, getting the DDP is too much work. You’re always thinking am I getting my monies worth? It’s much easier to pay as you go and just order what you want. The exception to this is if your primary focus is on the restaurants and character meals and not the park attractions. If you still want to try it, start with the Quick Service plan. If you enjoy Disney Springs, there are some fantastic quick service restaurants that will accept your DDP like Polite Pig and in addition to their delicious bbq, you can order a cold pint of locally made beer which is included in your meal if you’re 21 or older. I think that meal costed $27 for 1 quick service dining credit. So try to use your credits for lunch & dinner and a snack credit for breakfast.

We've done Hollywood and Vine with the Fantasmic package at DHS, and Tusker House at AK with the Rivers of light package for only 1 Table service each. They are buffets, but they are character meals. I think that's great value.

I cannot recommend 50s Prime Time Café enough! Great comfort food and milkshakes and the portions are huge! Plus it’s such a fun time! I went during my birthday a few years ago and it was like a family celebration! Favorite spot!

The prepackaged candy is a great use of unused snack credits, ( I was sick on day so did use a QS meal ) like the gummies etc. I can give those to the neighbor who takes in the mail, or give to grandkids.

Hi Molly, Great video but I just wanted to say I booked with Disney Dining plan plus for October and when I was trying to decide where I should use my dining credits I noticed that both Hoop de Doo and Spirit of Aloha are now stating that no dining plans are accepted for these shows. This is too sad as these made for a great use of dining plan credits. Also as a user of the Deluxe dining plan previously I can confirm that the Deluxe plan includes a 3 course meal where as the regular dining plan credits only include a 2 course meal. The Disney website description of the new Disney dining plan plus reads that the new plan includes 3 courses per credit as well but I have yet to explore this. It makes the small difference in cost worth while if you like to have a starter course, main course and dessert like us. Have a Disneylicious night x

On RWDW trips we always get the dining plan. Next trip we are going to try the dining plan plus.

I've been to WDW twice using the Dining Plan. In 2007, my plan was: 1QS, 1TS & 1 Snack with Appetizer AND Dessert included. I just had to pay the gratuity separate. In 2011, I had the Deluxe Plan. I like the DDP Plus, because you can have EITHER QS or TS in a day. BUT DON'T FORGET TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR THOSE TABLE SERVICE MEALS!! 😉😉

Also Molly I would not do the Disney dining plan because it would be me and bestie going to Walt Disney World and we really don’t eat that much. Plus I have over $300 dollars in Disney gift cards and I will use them instead buying the Disney dining plan.

So I heard if you do a split stay and move resorts... Then you can do the dining plan for one resort but not the other, but you can only use them for the days you are at the chosen resort.

Hey Molly another great video! My family and I have a trip planned for November. Somehow my daughter has gotten the impression that you have to have the park hopper in order to have the dining plan. I don't think this is correct. Our trip has been paid since back in 2019. Well yesterday or today we saw that park hopping is not going to be an option (at least at this time) so it doesn't make sense for me to pay for park hopper if I'm not going to be able to use it except if I have to have it in order to get the dining plan. If that's the case I'll just cancel the dining plan and park hopper and pay for all our dining out of pocket. Can you please let us know. Also what is your instinct telling you about Food and Wine. Will Disney still have it? If they are not going to have it I might as well cancel our trip because that was the reason for the trip this year. I hope you can respond. By the way if Kronk ever needs a new home I would be happy to adopt him. LOL

sadly, pizzafari family style is not all you care to enjoy :( since they’re only a quick service family style, you only get one large family portion of each item (no refills)

unfortunately disney made some changes this year when they added the new dining plan and hoop dee doo is no longer allowed to be used as a 2 credit meal on the dining plan :(
