It's so funny to hear young kids identify themselves by names that today we often associate with senior citizens: Bob, Bill, Tom, Jim, Joe, John, Pat, Jerry, Mike. No Dylans, Jaydens, Logans, and Hunters? Lol

@@denisenilsson1366 It was, and they'd had a long day of waiting, rehearsing, etc. It was way past 2-year-old Uncle Mike's bedtime. He detested this memory actually, because of the host picking on him when he was a tired baby.

So cute! LOL on prizes - diapers, dresses and a couple of packs of Winstons.

Garry said that they got diapers from a diaper service. Garry should have said they got diaper service. They got cartons, not packs, of cigarettes.

My grandfather, these boys' father, knew they were part of the prize so in case they won he switched from his lifelong... Chesterfields, maybe? to Winstons a week before the show to get used to them. Stuck to them from then on

Me thinks the lads are going to walk around with traditional Irish names. Some are named after patron saints!!.
@SheOfCertainGait2 жыл бұрын
They appear to be a traditional Irish Catholic family. I attended parochial school with many families of ten or more way back in the day.😇
@lisahinton96822 жыл бұрын
@Tom Collins The family may be Catholic, but maybe not. Those are just good ol' American names of the time. There were plenty of black Baptist Johns, Mikes, Pats, too, for example.
@cyber4052 Жыл бұрын
I also attended a Catholic grade school. One boy in my class had 8 siblings. One girl in my class had 7 siblings. I have 5 siblings. About 2/3 of the class just had 1 or 2 siblings. I was aware of the money problems of the students with the most siblings. I attended a public high school with a boy who had 7 siblings. He said that when people found out about how many siblings he had. they asked him if he was Catholic: he wasn’t.
@RookinherRookery Жыл бұрын
Hey y'all, I'm the eldest daughter of the oldest son you see here (Jim). They were indeed raised very Catholic. All except Rose did their time as altar boys. Some stayed with it in adulthood, some not.
