I love these old shows (I've Got a Secret, What's My Line, and To Tell the Truth, to name 3)...no overbearing graphics, or swooping camera shots, just interesting, intelligent host, guests, and panelists, and creative situations. Very easy to watch, enjoy, and even get a little intellectual stimulation.

The drummer, James Bradley Jr., is still drumming and living in Sweden. He has drummed for Chuck Mangione, Anita Baker, Beastie Boys, Neil Diamond, Stevie Klasson, Crazy Town and more. I liked the look on his face while he was drumming - it's easy to dismiss an ability at that age as mere mimicry, but the little guy was into the music.

This game show and WHAT'S MY LINE, WERE THE BEST EVER.👍💖
@feralbluee2 жыл бұрын
What’s my Line had the best panel - there were three of them who stayed for years with guest panelists showing up. i remember mostly the very intelligent lady - Dorothy Kilgallen and the smart and dapper - Bennett Cerf, then there was the ever-a-lady - Arlene Francis. John Daly was the straight man host who held the show together. comics Ernie Kovaks, Groucho and others were guests. Henry Morgen, Bill Cullin, and Betsy Palmer i remember from I’ve Got a Secret. Gary Moore was their moderator and he held that show together. he had a great voice, too, abd was great with the guests. :} 💁🏻💁♂️🧜♂️

James Bradley, Jr was pretty a pretty good drummer then. The actor who played Ricky Ricardo, Jr on the "I Love Lucy Show" was a fantastic drummer. He was only 4 years old too. He was not Lucy and Desi's son in real life either.

That old live radio man Garry Moore was quick on his feet as far as making quick adjustments . That young man playing the tat wel at a young age reminds me of the young Tiger Woods demonstrating his skills on the Mike Douglas show versus old trooper Bob Hope. Many younger commentors are connecting Betsy Palmer and her older lady work in the Friday the 13th . Know this Ms. Palmer appeared in a movie with and was a friend of Joan Crawford . She had a good example for Mrs Vooheea.

RJ Reynolds, the original sponsor of I've Got A Secret dropped the sponsorship after the 1959-60 season when Bristol-Myers became the sole sponsor until General Foods took over sponsorship and Hertz became the alternate sponsor in 1961 for only one season until the Toni division of The Gillette Company who was this episode's sponsor took over.

What a sickening disregard for the feelings of these animals by locking them in a box, then bringing them out for mere entertainment. It hasn't been that long since humanity has had empathy for other living creatures. This was considered by main stream America as acceptable in the 1960s.

Oh lighten up! What did you think of the 4 year old drummer?
@JasmineSurrealVideos4 жыл бұрын
Dick was his normal adorable squeezable self, I could just hug him up! Moray is so quick, he was dubbed the human joke machine for his unerring ability to spew out joke after joke. The little boy was a good drummer but he didn't seem able to answer simple questions, which at 4 isn't normal, I'm not sure if he was a bit slow or just shy or something but he was a bit uncomfortable to watch. I was a child performer singing (mezzo soprano) on stage at an early age, and certainly was able to answer questions, be confident, engage and smile, as were most of my fellow stage friends.
@icturner233 жыл бұрын
No one cares what you could do, but the little boy was perfectly normal in his responses. All children of that age on this show clammed up in the same way, or in fact more so.
@vickiechandler31122 жыл бұрын
He was 4.....NORMAL 4 year olds are not performing seals that speak and clap on command especially when they may be seeing themselves for the first time on a television moniter. They are developing personalities at that age . I am sorry you were not able to have a regular childhood.
@stacynels42 жыл бұрын
I agree with IC And Vickie..he's a normal 4 year old who plays drums on beat!!!!!!
