Dear Irene, I'm absolutely mesmerized with every craft you do. I think one is the best, or my favorite until I see the next. I'm in the process of watching all of your videos, are almost done, and have been a fan for over a year. Everyone in the crafting world should know about you, and be watching your channel. I feel exactly the same way. Each video impresses me more...Irene, you are not just very talented as an artist, but an excellent teacher as well. I'd love to know you're background. Where you learned your skills. The layered painting always gets me- I learned the technique young painting ceramics and the extra work and time is always worth it. We have a saying here, in Austria, "to do something the russian way" which means to improvise or use items in an alternative, wonky way. It‘s used slightly derogatorily. But, dann, Irene, you are showing us "the russian way" to make things. Intelligent, frugal, yet never compromising the esthetic, genius ideas, and so mich live for Details in your videos. This channel became my favorite DIY and arts&crafts channel so fast. Thanks for the great videos and beautiful ideas.

Genius woman, I found this channel today after watching one your doll restoration videos. I have been itching to make one of those Pinterest alarm clock dioramas for weeks now - wondering how to cheaply source an alarm clock casing - you have solved my dilemma, plus I get to buy/eat Kinder Eggs 😂😂😂 Love your skills and ideas, can't wait to catch up on your back catalogue of videos.

Dear Phoenix, I wanted to make one of those alarm clock Christmas decorations as well, and I found out that the empty alarm clocks are made by Tim Holtz for Ranger. You should be able to buy one from a craft store that stocks the Tim Holtz range. He makes wonderful window frames and doors out of firm cardboard, and windows made with printed acetate that look like real vintage, lead windows. I accidentally bought 2 lots of them, but I suppose I can save 1 for next Christmas ❤ Love from Amanda in Australia

Wow! I love these ornament ideas! That pocketwatch idea could be adapted to open and put a photo of an ancestor into the inside lid as if a grandfather or even older ancestor might have carried it with his sweetheart or wifes photo. Thanks, Irene!

I save the cardboard cores from shipping tape. I want to make the old fashioned alarm clock it’s genius! But I’m going to use the shipping tape cores instead of a tin can.
