There are some of us that have struggled with prayers. Upon returning to praying regularly, how can one make up their missed prayers? Must they make up each and every prayer even if it has been years?
You do not have to make up all the prayers missed. Instead, ask for forgiveness, regret your decision, and fullfil that by praying regularly and not giving up. Also, add more nafl salahs to your daily routine.

for now, i am following the 2nd opinion... In shaa allah... It's just i found that the 1st opinion was too difficult and discouraging for me. I will make a tawbah and never again missed my prayers... In Shaa Allah.

@Yassin Ali all the 4 imam (Malik, chafîi, abou Hanifa, Ahmad) are for the first option. You better pray every day with another day or two days with it. When we'll meet Allah (SWT), he will ask us about the prayer so at least try to compensate. I've missed years too not praying, it's very sad, but i will inshallah try first option, and may Allah Help and guide us. AMINN

For many people option one is very discouraging. They missed salah all they life and something flickers in their heart and they want to go back. Now they have to make up 15,000 Salah. They are never gonna come back.

As Salaam Alaikum. You only do what makes sense, once you start practicing and praying Allah allows to make up the prayers you missed.

Brothers & sisters pls don't get comfortable with 2nd opinion. Are u really willing to take the risk? On the day of Judgment the 1st thing we accountable for is salah, if u have missed years of fard salah how do u think it will be enough on that day, even if u prayed nafal, it won't make up for it. Nafal salah is a back up for all the fard salah we prayed but lacked in concentration etc. On that day if ur salah is not enough, the rest of the accountability u are doomed. U really willing to take that risk for eternity? I am makin up for my salah n Alhamdulillah I have made up ALOT! It is not impossible. Even if u don't make it all up but die while trying to In'shaa'Allah u win! I have a app which helps me keep a count of how many I need to do each day. Pls try, even if it's 1 days worth of salah per day (2 fajr, 4 Zuhur, 4 Asar, 3 magrib, 4 Isha n 3 witr) don't gamble with ur akhirah. It's not worth it. Pls keep me in ur humble duaas. 🙏

Please do not make interpretations based on your personal understandings... check with a scholar. if you miss a prayer deliberately there is no making up for it ... the only thing you can do is tawbah and be diligent with your prayers and yes make voluntary prayers to get closer to Allah.

@@iqraijaz2220 it is just a counter app I downloaded. U don't need a app just estimate how many years of salah u missed into how many Fajr, Zuhur etc then try makin it up as u go along. Like I said even if in a lifetime u are unable to make it all up Allah Swt sees ur intention and In'shaa'Allah He will forgive u for any lacking salah to be made up. Dont believe or listen to others who says its ok cos on the Day of Accountability u don't know what was truly right or wrong so u rather be on the side of trying then thinkin oh I'm OK I dont need to be make it up then to find out u was wrong when it is all too late. What do u have to lose other than to gain. Allah knows best. Pls keep me in ur humble duaas.

Assalamualaikum Hello my brothers please dont leave just by asking forgiveness pf salah pray it or else there is no words about forgiveness of salah so please pray the left namaz as khaza or else there would be an bad in maidan e hashr and the salah is the first thing which is being asked on day of judgement so please my brothers and sisters pray all the salah which you left by adding witr in it lets allah accept our khaza salah

Assalamu Walaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wabarakatu. I have a question. I'm currently in the middle of making up my missed Salah and since trying to pray them all together is discouraging for me, I'm trying to pray one day at a time. For example, I pray 2 rakat fardh of Fajr salah before or after my daily Fajr salah, then 4 rakat fardh of Duhr before or after my daily Duhr prayer, and so on... I read somewhere we also should make up our witr prayer and my question is, are we supposed to treat our qaza prayers separately from our daily prayers? If not, I'm basically praying 6 rakats of witr wajib every night and as far as I know, witr has to be in odd numbers of rakats only. Please help.

@@emiss65 walaikum salam my brother you should offer your witr prayer 3 3 rakats you should not combine it if you have more qaza prayers you should offer after every prayer for example after fajr you should offer 2 qaza fajr prayer like this you should the main important thing is here is niyyat if you died before praying all your qaza prayers but you have done your intention to pray all then allah will give you reward as you prayed all your prayers and here we should not combine our prayers like zohr has 4 rakats we should not combine it and pray 8 we should do as the same as rakats

If you are praying fajr pray 2 farz rakah 2 times Similiar with all namaz You can pray every namaz farz rakahs 2 times

What is the status of some one who misses salat due to the job and when he comes home and pray the fard salat at that time but never prays the missed one ,no matter how much he's being adviced? Is it only a sin or kufr?

Fahima Ayub Some scholars say that you have to make them up in the correct order, some others say that they cannot be made up as they happen at a specific time and should be prayed on time so they say that you should pray the ones you can and maybe ask for forgiveness for missing these salats and praying on time whenever you can inshAllah. As I am facing kind of the same deal with school, I think I will agree with the latter as some cheiks say that you should only make up your salats if there was an emergency for you to miss them like traveling, exam, appointment but not on the long term so pray and ask for repentance. Is it only a sin or kufr? Some sheiks say that not praying at all is kufr and missing some prayers is a sin and that one is in danger if he dies between the interval of two prayers that he did not perform. Of course, don’t take my words for granted, feel free to consult some other sources and videos about the topic and Allah knows best.

I reverted this past Ramadan alhamdulillah, I've been learning how to pray and subhanallah now I know how to, do I have to make up for the missed prayers before i took my Shahada? Or just the ones I didnt pray after my shahada?

You only have to make up your missed prayers from after your shahada as when you do your shahada alhamdulillah all your previous sins are wiped away

reverts are not obliged to make up for the amount of prayers they didn't do before they took their first shahada.... because all your sins were wiped away the moment you took your first shahada and then you will be held accountable with your prayers starting that day.

Does the same fiqh apply for missed obligatory fasts? I mean, if I've years of missed obligatory fasts, and then I repent & make firm intention not to miss any one of the future obligatory fasts, I no longer require to make up the missed fasts? Jazakallahu khairan.

Sami UFKDV I think the fast is unanimously agreed upon as having to be made up for, based off of hadith. Fasts and zakat are to be made up for as much as my understanding goes (trying to work out how much of course), salaah is differed upon

...qadha salah is a Must....Majority of the authentic ulumaa e karaam are of that Opinion. Check It out with Darul uloom. The other group that says" qadha Salah is not necessary. "Are wrong... Salah is Fard regardless; it was ordered to be done in the battle field .also

@@faro8594 listen hon, don't do it if you don't want it. Nobody is forcing you... Nowadays Each of " us" claims to be An Alim ... without having acquired even the Basics of Qura'an, Sunnahs & Ahadeeth...... Public is Good only in questening & Criticizing ' mustanid ulumaas ' who have Authority over all subjects of Islam... My suggestion: Salah is FARD....but do it as per your convenience.....fo as many Qadas as you want...Have 😂

@@geomatricfilms4015 Disagree.. It's not a matter of opinion. It's qura'an & Sunnahs and Amale Sahabaan e Karaam.... They were the direct students of Nabi Akram Sallal laho Alehe Wasallam. From them , Taba Taa' been learned; Then ulumaa e Karaam...... authentic knowledge is there....the modern theologists are trying their best to mold Islam into modern patterns 😂

Allah is most merciful he is not like us that he will not accept our repentance ask for forgiveness sincerely If you will abandon salah its loss for you and it will cause more and more loss Stand up for yourself before you fall Allah will help you InShaaAllah
