This first time reaction of Valeriy Stepanov Fusion Project's "Long for You" is genuinely my first time hearing this song.

You can checkout the artist's original video without my commentary here: • Valeriy Stepanov Fusio...

When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.
Please do recommend songs or other artists for me to checkout in future by commenting on this video! I'm constantly on the lookout for great new music and things I've never heard before.

Thanks Steve! This is one where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The production blend is great. Your comments are spot on.

Thanks for this! I have heard some ”crazy fusion” 😉 with him before but never this song. Really liked the more chill vibe and the beautiful melody in the beginning and end!

He could almost play everything at the same time... 😱 Actually, there is a live performance where Stepanov played drums AND keys at the same time.... 🤯🤯 He is awesome. Try the song Believe In Yourself, with saxophone player Eric Marienthal and drummer Steven Williams. More fusion style. Or the song On The Storks Wings with Alex Hutchings on guitar and Marcus Thomas on drums... Or the song The Sun, believe it's only Valeriy but still more fusion. And there is more... One favourite is his live performance Live 2,seems to be in a pub and is absolutely faboulous! Can't believe the sound and all great russian musicians. Believe his brother on the bass. You need to watch and hear to believe.

Loved this and loved watching you as Valeriy kept adding instrument after instrument in his always quirky way. Your comments as always honest, knowledgeable and along with your sometimes confused expression made for a very enjoyable view. Just a suggestion for something more in the nature of what I think you were expecting from fusion. Give this link a mere 5 seconds and see if you're not hooked. Supreme instrumental of the first order: *TETE-A-TETE - Rakita/Borlai/Davidyants/Lukács* kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pKylfKan1Me4eIE.html

Very pretty song and obv a very talented guy. It was so 80s love song ambiance for me I just spent 11 mins waiting for Michael McDonalds solo to kick in. That was fun. thx

Very impressive musicianship and his keyboard skills -- on piano and synth -- are next level. Little over-produced at times and a touch Jacob Collieresque. That said, I would love to have this guy's talent.

Hi there, Steve. After your re-drop of all of your Aurora reactions, do you intend to do more? Just asking for a friend. ;) On another 'note', have you heard the Dirty Loops song 'Bitten By the Kitten' from Songs For Lovers? Fierce drumming!!

Ole Valeriy clearly has more talent than he knows what to do with. Quite the journey this song takes you on. If you're into one-man-band productions I think you'd really enjoy watching and listening to Jon's One Man Band Boston Cover of Foreplay/Long Time. He has a couple of guest vocalists (lead and harmony) but Jon plays every instrument. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bK5latOIqJvWpp8.html
