It's so refreshing to see someone playing this game for the first time and actually incorporating spells into bossfights, they're really strong but new players tend to dismiss them for sake of either saving soul for healing or not wanting to stop spamming nail, the next spell is the strongest one but also the most complicated. 2 tips (if you see this): 1. You can quick cast by pressing right bumper (or your equivalent button). It doesn’t work for healing though. 2. You are invincible for a short period of time after you start descending with Desolate Dive.

Can confirm, I was super lost and indecisive on where to go when I first played. And I died A LOT, including to earlier bosses like Gruz Mother and False Knight... and Hornet but almost everyone died to her the first time 😅
