Striderine isnt anywhere near to the most broken team in MvC1. That honour goes to Double War Machine and it's not even close. I wouldn't even put Striderine as top 3, as Strider with either War Machine is better (Strider is the single best character in the game, but even he can't compete with DWM Team Cheating stupidity). They might be no.4 team overall, at best.

Not an expert but I think it’s a bug where you like delay a hit in a combo so you reset scaling but it somehow still combos.

Same was a reset does but you cannot block it. Its basically you drop the combo and start a new combo, but your opponent doesn't get the chance to defend against it. So they just gotta eat it

​​@@FlyGuySwaqq slight correction on what the last person said...just the damage scaling and combo counter reset. But the combo itself is not a reset because that would be escapable/blockable. Uncombo is a glitch and I believe it is when an attack of a combo hits on the last active frame on an airborne opponent...that causes the uncombo effect of resetting dmg/hit count but the combo itself is still true and there is not a gap to block. So uncombo setups are attack sequences that have a high probability of part of it hitting that last active frame. Some of them are very consistent like the strider combo at 4:25 where that last gram special in the air typically uncombos (you can actually see the hit counter stop at 19 hits and his gram attack didn't get included in the count), whereas other characters like War Machine have extended air combos that can often uncombo somewhere during the sequence just depending on the player's input timing. Spiderman in MSH also has a fairly simple infinite that often uncombos. At face value, if you arent familiar with an uncombo setup then it might just look like someone did a reset and the defender missed a block. But eventually you'll start noticing the same sequences keep happening, and those might be uncombos that the attacker is aware of and trying to use.

​​@@FlyGuySwaqq also to answer your question this game's on combo is a glitch whereas, Every other game has true resets where the opponent has a chance to defend. But like he said in this instance, its 1 combo where the meter and scaling reset in the middle of it, so they didnt really "escape" It's in the same instance as the unfly glitch that activates it. It's just a hit property that resets the opponent in a way where they're just in neutral jump animation.

@@FlyGuySwaqq Uncombos can only happen in very specific situations. Each character's uncombo setups are unique to them. They are specific sequences that will lead to a guaranteed unblockable reset if they are executed correctly. They are different than regular resets which can be blocked.
