Hey guys, here is a tutorial for an awesome drawing duplication I call Canvas. I've taken this classic mentalism method and perfectly justified it to create a hard-hitting, practical effect. I really appreciate you taking some time to watch this tutorial. It’s filled with detail because it needs to be. There is so much that goes into convincing sleight of hand and deception. So many nice touches here. I remember the first time you'd explained this method, it seemed dope. But I've never liked center tears...when I finally did make the effort to learn one, it was an instant-access CT. I like the style of it and the immediate peek, but this presentation seems much more fully fleshed out, with less left up to chance. Nice stuff, can't wait for more tutorials

So maybe something to think about with this one Making a big deal about them being this artist and drawing on a canvas and then taking their artistic creation and ripping it up is kinda harsh 😂 so maybe have some motivation for the tearing Like “my art teacher taught me to not fall in love with everything I draw and taught me that once I put my thoughts on paper those thoughts were forever burned into my mind and that I could always start over, do it again and do it better, she sometimes even tore up my work to make me realize this So with this image you put on paper it is subconsciously forever burned into your mind and I’m going to try and pick up what this is Something along the lines of that instead of saying be an artist and draw something And then tearing their drawing up in their face 😆 Just a thought and I enjoy your content

Appreciate it man! Yea I do provide my justification for the tearing in the video. I say something like “As a mentalist, my job is to try to recreate the thought that exists in your mind. You can think of your thought from my perspective as a bunch of little pieces of information that are torn up, and I need to do my best to try to reconstruct and put the pieces back together to figure out what you’re thinking of.” I tear up the drawing while doing this as an example. Bottom line there are several ways to justify it but it does have to be justified. I really like your justification here as well, another great option.

Nice job but there isn't anything new here. Its just a good teaching of the center tear using ideas from other people.

Thanks, I didn’t claim it’s anything new but I also have come up with all of these ideas and subtleties independently. This is just the way I routine the center tear with my scripting and subtleties. Never claiming this is original as even though I haven’t seen it, it may have been done in a similar way. Just sharing what I do
