@@ellensaccoia1151 think John Carter as a mix of his mother and his father in his vocals, but I do agree Thomas definitely can hit those lows better then John can. Which I think is why John had Thomas do those lows, is because he did sound so much like Johnny.

I was thinking the same thing... Johnny but an octive higher. Yes he's blood but that doesn't always mean he will have the gift. It's nice to hear in this case he does.

Damn. If I played Johnny Cash and then played his versions it would be difficult to tell them apart. His grandson sounds so much like his grandfather it’s almost eerie. He is extremely talented.

John Carter Cash and Thomas Gabriel you are such an inspiration to me. I lost my children in 2013. They would be 41 tomorrow which will be 3-8-24. You both sound so much like your Dad and Grandfather. I, also, miss my Father and Grandfather. Thank God for our Heavenly Father who sent Jesus to die for our sins! I know you know what I mean!!!! God Bless! Romans 8:28! Our families (whether children or parents or grandparents). live on through us. God is amazing! My father was Jack Shaw. I think you remember him. Your dad and grandfather Johnny Cash reminds me so much of him, I'm a big follower of Johnny Cash and Jesus. I see both in my earthly father. Luke 1:37!(This was my dad's signature scripture, he put it on everything he signed)
