My SDA cousin taught me this song a long time ago, sadly he'd passed away.. Everytime i listen to this song it reminds me of him who leads me to seek god and follow him ..such an inspirational song to those who desire to go to that land where death has no power , where the people of god live forever ...the paradise.

This song made me cry. I started attending the church while I was 15 years of age, and Fountainview Academy's songs helped me a lot in all this period (being the only sda among my relatives an colleagues). Jesus thought of us even before the foundations of Earth were laid..He is the creator of the whole universe. Once you imagine the whole size of the universe?? Even the human brain which is also made by Jesus cannot think of it..He created us in his image. EVEN THE PEOPLE WITH TATTOOS, REPENT AND RECEIVE SALVATION ie; BELIEVING THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE REAL GOD, CAN BE SAVED, JESUS WANTS THAT KIND OF PEOPLE TO RETURN TO HIM...SEE, IF A PERSON WITH TATTOOS CAME TO CHURCH AND WANTED TO LISTEN TO THE WORD OF GOD, NO ONE CAN STOP HIM.. Beautifully done! My brother, Rick Metcalf, wrote this song a long time ago, and Fountainview adopted it many years ago. Our families have been singing this for a long time in our homes, and I am so glad it can touch many people's lives in a positive way! Always look up....ohhh that I had wings like a dove!

Im 13 and I just wanna say this song is amazing. Praise the lord! This song truly makes me happy. Everyday I always do my best with fighting temptation. When I started feeling sad, anxious and mad God found me and helped me! So if anyone is feeling low just remember god will help you! He is the reason I'm happy. But if anyone has tips on how to help me be a better Adventist or a christian in general please let me know Im looking for new and/or different ways! May God bless you! ❤️

Yes you can be, even I struggle to be with Jesus but He tells me to look at Him, to talk with Him more and also to read His Word and ponder upon His life death and resurrection. It makes me so happy to just imagine what He will tell me when I meet Him face to face someday and also all the things that i want to tell Him all these years.

You want to go there now? I can help you! First, get your hands on some Kool Aid. Get some sleeping tablets. Crush all the sleeping tables into a fine powder. Dissolve the powder into the Kool Aid. From now on refer to it as holy Kool Aid. Prepare a slice of bread. Now say a prayer and thank your deity for preparing you a place in the afterlife. By faith, put the bread in your mouth and pretend you are partaking of your deity's flesh. Now wash it all down with the holy Kool Aid, pretending you are drinking your deity's blood. Sit back, open your Bible at Psalm 23. Start reading. Soon you will get a warm fuzzy feeling and hear beautiful music. A middle eastern man in a white dress will appear to you. He will be surrounded with sheep looking just like you. You and the man will both be clothed in white. He will take you to grandma. After you worship yourself silly, the man will ask you if you want to come back. You may or may not take up the offer. Its still free will even in the afterlife, isn't that cool. I can't tell you how many times l have listened to this BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL song. The words just pierce my soul. I really want to go to heaven. At times l just want to fly away like a dove from this sad sad world. My true joy is to become truly bible converted, so all those sentiments will transpire in my life. Yes, we all want to go to heaven. We need to have a closer relationship with Jesus. We ought to do His will. It's not the religious denomination that will determine if you're going to heaven. It's our connection with Jesus. Godbless FVA. Godbless, all followers of Christ. See you all under the Tree of Life. I'm sure that'll be one of our favourite places when we get there.
