This fun little collab came to be after I was in a restaurant for my friend's birthday and a restaurant singer kept interrupting us as we were talking about something pretty vulnerable. It was too ridiculous to not turn into a sketch. Thank you to both Whitney and Ryan for taking part. I'm sure you've checked out their channels before but if not, head on over and see the very funny content they each make.

Could I get the backstory of what's on the corkboard in the sponsored segment? In any case, if you told them they were interrupting and they persisted, I get it.

Oh god, this reminds me of when I took friends to a restaurant that had been recommended to me as a going away gift, since I would not see them for YEARS. Naturally, we had some ground to cover. Unfortunately, the restaurant had a singer, and we could not talk to each other AT ALL because he kept doing this kind of thing. We really should have left after drinks and it became clear this wasn't a place we could converse, but that Sunk Cost Fallacy will get ya.

I had a painfully similar experience to this once when I was in a restaurant with my then girlfriend who was in the process of telling me she didn't want to carry on with the relationship. A rose seller came over and, for some reason I will never understand, insisted on standing there after we'd politely declined her wares and listened in to my soon to be former partner explaining why we weren't emotionally or sexually compatible. By the end, I felt like I'd broken up with both of them.

I think it's cool that Julie still replies to comments. This isn't a "say she replies to comments so she will reply to mine" comment, either. I genuinely think it's nice that she still takes time to heart and reply to a lot of comments, even though she's "big enough" on KZfaq to where she doesn't have too. A lot of KZfaqrs heart and reply at the start and then grow to a point where they stop doing that. It's just nice that she still does it.
