It' s not necessary.In my country there was a choise" 3 best songs" . Now they are at place 49 and Queen songs were played 5 times and I am pretty sure that would be not all.

The only thing I can see holding Marc the least bit back is his innabitions. He needs to get crazy on stage ,,like Freddie did. Learn that strut. Play that air guitar or really play a real guitar. I know you're an awesome pianist. Just keep rocking & doing shows & you'll get better & better.

e visto en comentarios de you tube que algunos dicen marc no es freddie, otros q marc no esta para estadios y conciertos de categoria de freddie, pero el mismo dejo en claro q jamas pretendia ser freddie mercury, y la diferencia entre otros q rinden homenaje a freddie q se visten como freddie y cantan sus temas marc canta los temas sin ponerse un traje de los q usaba freddie y eso de x si lo hace especial, pues mantiene vivo a freddie de una manera como lo sabia hacer el mismo freddie con la voz q recibio como don y regalo en esta vida. y concuerdo marc esta ahi para mantener viva la voz de freddie.

For the life of me, I'll never understand why Queen didn't do everything they could to sign him on as lead singer. Nothing against Adam Lambert, he's a talented singer. Marc however, sounds almost exactly like Freddy on top of being a talented singer.

I think it's more about who Freddie was than how he sounded. Freddie had a certain flair. He had a stage presence that was unparalleled. The band's success was as much due to the feel as it was the sound.

@@jbmann5317 Martel has quite a stage presence himself. That is not the problem. And it is not about disrespecting Freddie either. It’s all much simpler : May wants to be THE star of the Q+. Were Marc to front Q+, it would become MM+ in an instance - Marc is that good! So, who can blame Maylor for refusing to regress to the backing position in their own band? They clearly want to be the stars of their own show.

For me Michael Jackson is first, and freddie is second. I'm a big fan both of them for years. Michael's voice is so pure and angelic of course same for Freddie but there is something special about Michael's voice. If you listen carefully may you notice that:)

@@lucianoblues since Freddie's passed away, they haven't released new songs so far and all their tours are about playing songs from albums with Freddie alive...so, putting Marc Martel would make sense...their intention is to keep going as a "legacy band", not a band releasing new material...but at the same time, they want a "new personality", so, that's the why the chances of having Marc instead of Adam as a permanent member are zero...but it would make sense, for sure!

Besides, although Marc sings very well in the lowest notes, in the highest notes, his voice is not consistent and beautiful, and this distances him from the unique and unmatched FREDDIE Mercury ...Adam is original and he is not trying to be Freddie...Adam is an AMAZING Singer and performer...Much better than Marc.

This is what I’ve been saying for a while but got attacked by Lambert fans as this idea of mine was “crazy”, “inappropriate” and such nonsense because it would be “insulting” to Freddie’s memory, according to them. Apparently May and Taylor don’t want him because his voice is too similar to Freddie’s and they prefer a different singer. So yeah, us Queen fans who would rather have Marc performing with Queen will have to settle for these performances here, that’s all we have.
