Your videos are the first time I've heard of Niche layering and it honestly set me free. I am multi-passionate and it's so true, I can see myself getting bored of just doing one thing for years. Because I'm totally thinking long term. I just recently created a mind-map and a flow for what I'm going to be filming and I am so excited to see how it all works out!

I love the concept of niche layering. Having your core content and then layering in other small content pillars makes a well rounded channel. Especially since KZfaq is a long game platform

The layering method is such a goldmine for multi-hyphenate creators. And you're right; making your layers represent the authentic you is absolutely essential. I think that's the value of crafting your brand story first. You don't need a singular niche, but having a foundational brand, theme, and identity is far more effective than niching down. Also, many creators end up switching niches years down the line lol.

I’ve been thinking about this ALL DAY literally trying to figure out how to position my channel so that I’m not so boxed in with my content pillars. I have over 1,000 video ideas/title drafts but they’re across a LOT of subtopics of sustainability (which is a massive topic). And I’m a perfectionist so I felt like I needed to niche down more inside that general topic, but didn’t want to. When you said that word (sustainability) after me searching all day for some direction, my ears perked up and sure enough you had the exact message I needed to hear regarding layering. I’d never heard that concept before. I think it was divine intervention. I am feeling a lot better now. Thank you! ❤ Subscribed!

Love this video!!!!!!! This FINALLY was an answered prayer for me as a multipassionate entrepreneur. I'm French, and you're one of the few non-French-speaking people I hear pronouncing 'niche' accurately. A lot of English-speaking people mispronounce niche as 'nitch' which is incorrect. Overall, of course, this isn't the most important thing. Your content is your essence. Another one: this helps me buckle down on just having 2-3 platforms. I'm not one for having all the platforms, I want to master 2 maybe 3 platforms and leave it at that. Finally! A successful content creator saying what I've been thinking about KZfaq! Almost every video I've seen has said to niche niche niche and hammer down in one category... and I find that very boring, quite frankly. What I've observed is that videos that I post spontaneously or ones that are not 'in-line' with the heart of my channel (which is Christian faith-based content), gets a lot more engagement than videos primarily focused on what my channel is really about. I guess improvements on my thumbnails and titles is needed in terms of creativity and how the content is presented?? Sigh lol it's a lot!

Hi Erin, really hoping you see this comment. I started off niching by talking about immigrating to Canada but recently (lately), I’ve been trying to break into vlogging and do more vlogs. I would love to make travel vlogs but I can’t travel all the time so I make weekly vlogs instead. Sadly, it doesn’t get views. I workout a lot and put a lot of workout videos on tiktok because I’m too scared to post them on KZfaq for fear of people not clicking or watching my videos. Currently experiencing a lot of mental stress deciding whether to post what I enjoy or post for the sake of subscriber views

Always post what you enjoy! Your ideal audience will come! Many of my Creator College students start in this same situation. One of them were feeling just like you a few weeks ago, but she stayed consistent and her content ended up blowing up!! I definitely feel like if I hyper niched I’d grow faster but it feels better to do it the way I’m doing it, layering it even though I didn’t realize that’s what I was doing lol. I also have to get more clear as well. Today I finally wrote out my target persona that I learned from one of your other videos so thank you for sharing this with us 🫶🏾
