For those comenting on Linda's sub-par performance, I am pretty sure this was the time when I saw them in London (Shaw Theatre), when Richard and Linda were in the process of breaking up, and apparently not speaking to each other. It's been described as 'the tour from hell'.

Happy Birthday Linda Thompson born on August 23, 1947. She is an English folk rock singer. Thompson is one of the most recognised names and voices in the British folk rock movement of the 1970s and 1980s, in collaboration with fellow British folk rock musician, guitarist Richard Thompson, to whom she was married for ten years, and later as a solo artist. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linda_Thompson_(singer)

I am just discovering talented folk-rock duos. This one has a wonderful sound.

For anybody complaining about Lindas performance, this performance should be about the time she started to have her vocal chord problems due to a disease I’ve forgotten the name of.

This is a tight little version, in my opinion. I didn't think the vocals were that bad.

I love this but who on earth directed it? I can’t even figure out who most of the band are (though I can guess)

Questions are neither correct nor incorrect.

@@ralphtouch8962 She covered the Linda Thompson song “Telling Me Lies”. The song is purportedly *about* Richard. Took me about 3 minutes on Google.

@@ralphtouch8962 Ronstadt also covered Richard’s “King of Bohemia”.

I'm reminded of an SNL appearance by Talking heads in 78-79. Tina? Who's that? Should she be in these shots? Ooops...

Never mind Linda's sub-par performance: who the hell directed this? "Here's Richard's solo- cut to the drummer!"

This line up was the infamous 'tour from hell' when Richard and Linda were splitting up. I saw them in London and you could feel the tension, but the music was great. Who is it playing 12 string electric? Wonderful John Kirkpatrick on accordian, of course.

"Kind of wish?!" Writing negativity should feel like a waste of time (as I write something negative about your opinion I realized how unfulfilling it is to be THAT Guy)
