Hey, fellow Oregonian! Can't wait to hear your reaction! I've been watching every reaction to Dan's version of this song since he released it and that's quite a few. It has brought smiles and happiness to everyone I watched; and I can imagine to all the subscribers to all the youtubers who reacted! That, in and of itself, is a testament to Dan's vocal talent and the energy and hard work, that he and the guitarist, Garrett Peters, put into what they do. ENJOY!

MORTIUS! Different Approach? One of Dan's main goals is to empower as many people as possible! I love the impish grin he gets on his face during the guitar solo, getting ready to do the 'power line' that even Celine does. There is room in this world for Dan's and Celine's versions. Then to top it off with a big Broadway Finish is just FANTASTIC!!!

I love the way Dan attacks the mic to start singing. You know it is gonna be a powerful rendition. Then he looks at the camera when he sings YOU. The hair flips!!! I could go on and on !! I had the same reaction the first time - I wanted more, more, more. Sooo gorgeous. He kept all the words and most of the melody, but turned the song on its head. What was a lovely but weepy song is now an anthem to the memory of undying love. Brilliant. I've never been able to settle on a favorite song of his - there are so many great ones - but, at least for now, this is it. It has everything: Dan's voice, Dan's singing, Garrett's guitar, the background instrumentals, the volcanic energy, and so many smiles. And a great arrangement by Dan and Gabriel. The Music of the Night and Gethsemane for musical theater scenes. You will be knocked out, I think. For a great metal upgrade of an already good pop song, Dan's duet with Violet Orlandi on Seal's Kiss from a Rose. For more mind-boggling, Dan's one-man choir version of the Hallelujah Chorus - straight classical singing of all four parts. Or try Song of the White Wolf, one of his Witcher covers (they're all terrific). He has complete control over his beautiful instrument, and really can sing anything, in any range and in any style.
