Just an FYI - I was at the high school last week and it's got a fresh coat of paint on the outside. It's blocked off for filming! It seems they are only using the front of the gym this time... The cast and crew were also at the "Hawkins National Lab" in Atlanta, shooting scenes. My wife had a doctor's appointment at Emory Hospital and we usually have bad experiences at her appointments, so we decided to find something fun to do afterwards and ended up checking it out a couple filming locations - what a neat surprise!

I’m gonna be going in early July. Really hoping to catch them filming around Atlanta, but just wanna see the sets regardless. Any recommendations/tips?

Nice, you had pretty much the same experience as me. I was in the cafeteria scene where Eddie got introduced. I got to talk with him for a split second outside while he was on a “break”

@@LukeMenard Yeah we finished that entire scene up. Unfortunetly Stranger Things is my least favorite set that I've been on but after watching season 4, I definitely want to do season 5

This seemed liked it was an amazing experience, I live near Atlanta currently and they're looking to hire extras rn but they haven't put out any calls for minors which is annoying since i'm 17 but I really hope I get the oppurtunity as well

Hi, stranger things is my favourite show ever and I would most likely do anything to be part of it. It’s so cool you got so lucky and were an extra. I auditioned for the new hunger games movie - which is coming out this year - at 17 years old last year. I am 18 now and I’d love to know if there is a possibility of being an extra in st even if I am from Europe cause I’ve been looking for casting calls now for so long but they seem to only cast Americans 😕. I don’t know what to do and if I could get a work allowance for America somehow ?😅 If anyone now, how I can audition, pls answer me 😊.

Hi, do they usually film on Saturdays? I applied for Season 5 and can't be an extra on Saturdays due to religious reasons. Thanks:) Pretty awesome that you did all of that.

most of the time it's just weekdays. So you should be good!
