What I never understood about these games is that every Pokemon has a sleeping animation; hit them with a Sleep Seed, a sleep inducing move, or just find them napping when you find them (I found Darkrai sleeping in the Crevice Cave Pit a couple times when I was resetting to recruit him, it was kinda cute in a way). But none of them are used when the game is adjusted to have different player and partner combinations. Even in normal gameplay when you evolve your player and partner in the post game, they're forced to use their walking animations, which looks dumb as hell. Then again, now that I think about it, it's not like this is the only case in the series where Pokemon have access to sleeping animations but don't use them. The Eeveelutions will just curl up in the most adorable cuddle animation ever during a camp or a picnic, but when Spored to sleep they'll just fall asleep while standing. Oh by the way, you can't get a Persona 5 reference past me. 0-the Fool is Igor's Confidant identification.

Yeah, it is kinda odd, but I'm just glad it doesn't break when changing starters lol I personally wasn't thinking of persona when making the reference, but the number of folks that are bringing it up makes me want to start playing the games (never have before)

I love the pokemon mystery dungeon series and explores of sky is easily my favorite so seeing people still playing it in pretty unique ways is so amazing

I'm gonna go with that Skuntank has the ability Corrosion (even though it didn't exist yet when the game came out) so it's poison moves can effect steel and poison types

So I actually started a playthrough of this game recently myself. I am using Ralts as me and Bunneary as the partner. Do yourself a favor, don't use Bunneary as a partner. You see it has the abilities klutz and run away. So it can't use held items and when it's hp gets below half, it panics and stops fighting. I am babysitting an idiot in this playthrough. Just did the amp plains fight and basically soloed it since Bunneary ran away 3 turns into the fight and I didn't bother Oran berrying her. Ralts is great except my only attacking move was confusion for the longest time.

Unless there is a further reference im missing, im going to guess that the fool is just as simple as the first card of the major Arcana for a deck of tarot cards.

@@ahdurinregion Well no wonder so many people think it's Persona. The series used Tarot Cards to represent the Arcana affiliated with the Social Links and Persona across the series, and 0-The Fool is a recurring one; it's the Arcana for Arsene and is even represented by Igor himself in Persona 5. So if the idea here is Tarot Cards, then by proxy anybody who guesses Persona is correct.
