This is a perfect song. This band is perfect. This performance is perfect. Sometimes I wonder if they know just how amazing they really are. I still struggle with the fact that Miho walked away from this.

The trio of M's Miho, Midori and Miyako ...the little dynamite Haruna...the elegant Asami all shine in this song . Midori's acoustic guitaring in the middle accompanied by the piano sounds so incredible. Strongly suggest you react to a metal ballad ' Epilogue ' for your next reaction. Glory to Lovebites! 🤘🐺 MIHO! Good evening! (Because Japan is at night now) I think this song was a song that could only be made by a female band. A male band wouldn't be able to make such a beautiful metal song. I don't think it's possible to produce such a song or such a beautiful melody unless it's a female sensibility and a female vocal. And I think that it was Lovebites that made heavy metal sublimate to the realm of "art". こんばんは！(今、日本は夜なので) この歌は、女性バンドだからこそ作り上げる事が出来た歌だと思います。 男性バンドでは、こんなな美しいメタルソングは作れないでしょう。 女性の感性でなければ、そして女性ボーカルでなければ、こんな歌、こんな美しいメロディーは生み出せないと思います。 そして、ヘビーメタルを「芸術」の領域にまで昇華させたのは、ラブバイツだからこそ出来たのだと思います。

Every member is killing in this song. Haruna murdering the drums as usual in the second part. Miho plucking her bass and headbanging as Hell. Asami bringing emotions with her One and Only Voice and with her gracious dancing moves. Miyako perfectly playing piano. Midori and her acoustic guitar 😍💚💚💚 and her solo ! ❤🔥🎸. "What? You didn't see that coming?" -- Pietro Maximoff. Enjoyed your reaction. I have all Lovebites records and EP's that were out before I saw any of their videos. That includes Electric Pentagram. Don't think I really appreciated Frozen Serenade until I saw this live version when I received the Blu ray for Heavy Metal Never Dies live (Ride For Vengeance Tour). The visuals for the piano/acoustic guitar interlude really pay off in concert with the snow falling and Asami showing her ballet skills. This is a song of loss and longing. These lyrics are far better written than many native English lyricists which remind me of the kind of lyrics from the late 60's to the 70's. For their comeback Lovebites should perform an acoustic unplugged show. Miyako can start with a 10 minute piano piece while Asami appears wearing ballerina dress and shoes performing her best ballet moves. Next they should perform Edge of the World, Empty Daydream and Epilogue in this order. Midori should play a double nech 12 string guitar and Haruna should play different percussion instruments. Next they should introduce the new bass player and play many favorites and introduce a couple of new songs. Finally, they should introduce a few special guest musicians and play a couple cover songs. It should be a live stream show with a dvd released soon. Just dreaming about Lobites' comeback.

It's hard to pick, but this is my pick for their masterpiece of masterpieces. Many great bands base their legend on one masterpiece. Lovebites already have at least six songs that qualify. Thank you for coming back to them. Yes, majestic is a good word for what they do. Glorious is another.

Asami (vocals) has over 9 years (IIRC) of ballet training under her belt.

Sorry.😊 I will clarify. Asami studied classical ballet for about 16 years (according to her). She started ballet when she was two years old. A fragment of the interview given by LOVEBITES on January 31, 2020, after the release of "Electric Pentagram" : asami (Japanese) まず楽曲ありきなので、先に歌詞を書くことはないし、曲にあった歌詞を当てている感じですね。例えば「Swan Song」はクラシックをモチーフにしていて、miyakoのピアノも生かされているんですけど、私自身クラシックバレエを16年ぐらいやってたこともあって、この曲のデモを聴いたときに「これは『白鳥の湖』でいこう」というアイデアが浮かびました。だから最後のピアノの部分は白鳥が死んでいくようなイメージなんです。 asami ( English) : First of all, there are songs, so I don't write the lyrics first, and I feel like I'm guessing the lyrics that match the song. For example, "Swan Song" has a classical motif, and miyako's piano is also used, but I myself have been doing classical ballet for about 16 years, so when I listened to the demo of this song The idea of "let's go with'Swan Lake'" came to me. So the last part of the piano is like a swan dying. P.S. "Swan Lake" - the famous classical ballet of P.I. Tchaikovsky. When Asami, as a ballerina, wrote lyrics for "Swan Song", she thought about the ballet "Swan Lake"

Terrible lights editing on this MV, as overall the "Ride for Vengeance" performance. Tech guys weren't at their best, and Bluray editing is mediocre too. That's a pity for such a talented band.
