Context. Context. Context. 👍 It's important to understand the ancient eastern people who wrote it, the culture of the times, language being used, literary forms, and the ancient eastern people to whom it was written to (that of course has relevance today). These things typically are developed over time. Great video! 💜

One thing that has helped me is leaving my phone either faced down turned off or away from me when i do my quiet time i tend to get distracted easy sometimes. Also don't see quiet time, bible study as a checklist be intentional!! Hope this helps!!❤️❤️

Would love to follow along with you, if you ever started a Bible plan with us!! I totally wanna get in to this more but I’m finding it hard to do coz idk what plan to follow and also finding one I can prioritize easily in a busy season. Would love your advice on this❤️ (also I would love more videos of you explaining the Bible with all the big words 🤭 + sharing what you learnt at seminary!)

I wanted to ask if you could please pray for me to have a stronger faith in Jesus it’s been hard to believe that He ever died for ME bcuz I’ve been seeing so many videos on the Calvinist and Armenian thing (idk if that’s how you spell it) I’ve just felt so discouraged, alone, and tbh kind of abandoned by God so if it could please pray for me I would so so thankful! @jesusloveyouuuputhimfrst I know you asked the question for @kirbyisaboss but it's interesting that these same videos have been popping up in my KZfaq feed (about Calvinists and Armenists). Don't let them confuse or discourage you and certainly don't let them make you feel like the Lord doesn't love you and didn't die for you! The scripture we all have memorized, John 3:16 should shout that, but even John 3:17 speaks of that... "that the WORLD might be saved through Him." Ask the Lord to give you discernment on which teaching is truth. He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him. ❤

I love my King James Study Bible from Thomas Nelson. Its KJV, if you couldnt guess l9l. And it has SO much good info in it and great photos and some really helpful maps and has a small dictionary and concordance as well. I grew up on the king james andbi just think it sounds beautiful. I have a lot of trouble with the NIV, idk why? Lol. I love the NLT and Modern English Version as well
