1:48:50 "I have been killing humans this whole time" Yoko Taro generously made us all complicit in genocide fun time. Classic. And then 9S discovers that humans are extinct and I'm like "I know bro, I DID THIS"

F-king Lmao. That moment you realize you just wiped gestalts from existence, stopped replicants from having a future, and completely removed the chance for humanity to exist again, all with one battle. I think Yoko Taro is one of the only people who can end a game like that and still have it be the good ending, Lol.

9S also ironically was the one who made the entire YORHA project, the original 9S that is, if you could consider them the same since it's just an artificial clone of an already artificial personality. Which also makes it more ironic seeing how 2B wondered about killing the god who cursed her with the dilemma of living, not knowing that she was in fact, killing that god, over and over again.

@@voice-less wait what? 9S founded YORHA?? where do i find these extra information outside from the game? (or did i miss something when playing nier automata?)
@voice-less
@voice-less Жыл бұрын
@@joaogabriels.f.5143 There is a lot of info scattered around within the game and outside it, I don't think there is a single place that has everything, you should just look up the wiki and other explanatory videos. As for 9S, he wasn't exactly the one to do it, more specifically, it was No.9, the original 9S so to say, when he was created Yorha was still in its earliest stages, haven't been properly founded and still in the testing phase, but No.9 was too clever for his own good, ended up learning the truth about the project and his own existence and went absolutely insane, due to that insanity he made the irrational choice of altering the entire project, creating the Yorha we know of in the game, deluding everyone to think humanity is still alive on the moon and creating a backdoor in the Yorha project that would cause its destruction if the truth ever comes out. No.9 actions don't actually make much sense but that's the point since he went insane, in trying to protect the project and keep the lie going, he chose to destroy the project to keep the lie from being known. These details were mentioned in a theatre piece written by Yoko Taro, you can most definitely find it on reddit if you look.

The moment when Yonah says "Brother" and then walks past you in slow motion... one of my all time favorite moments in gaming. If you're paying attention, you kind of see it coming by that point, but still hits like a punch to the gut that first time you watch the ending. Just sort of an ultimate culmination of "you were never the hero. you aren't saving the day." Shit hurts man.

Everything is collapsing minute after minute , the truth about the plot, about your own existence, about the world, killing Popola & Devola , every friend who helps your to move forward dies, and at the and of the path you just crying in disbelief, the head just overfilled with everything, it is like insanity and you feel like Mc cause you are.

It's also interesting that in automata, that the only way 2B was ever going to realize her dreams of 9S and herself being free from their never ending torture at the hands of YoRHa, would be by undergoing such tragedy and insanity that their lives fundamentally crumble and fall apart. Giving a feeling of their being no hope for their survival, letalone their happiness. In the NieR series it's always the hardest road traveled, the worst outcome realized. But there's at least a little sapling of hope growing in the ashes. These games messages and themes simply could not work if they weren't such tragic games.

That was a beautuful and heart wrenching ride. Thank you for the video... And I'm really sorry for you if you're the one that has to edit the video for the next routes. I hope that would be easier on you than playing the game was. P.S. That Emil imppresion almost made me jump out of my chair. It's crazy how spot on it was! And your cover of Ashes of Dreams was a cherry on top. Brilliant!

Wow your voice is beautiful! Your voice fits perfectly for the song you sang at the end. I just finished the game today and I don't think there's been any other game or game series that's made me feel many emotions like this game has.

Yes, the first playthrough was an emotional roller coaster. The second playthrough, however, will destroy your soul. To this day, I can't bring myself to fight against Roc. Good vid.

You're in for more emotion when you go another walkthrough for the remaining ending. The Wolf and The Mermaid hits harder in ending B & C

A pity you can't put more than one like on a single video, because this one deserves at least five ! This was quite a ride, loved it, thanks a lot for sharing it with us in this very neat edited version. I can't wait for the edit for routes B an beyond (even though I'm a little worried; I mean, they hit *hard*)... After this, you really deserve playing something fun and light hearted, for a change :)

I have watched your videos about Nier Automata and now this, and I am in awe. I love how invested you are in these games, both of which I think are works of genius. I was emotionally wrecked playing this game, and again watching your video (but in a good way). Incidentally, this is an absolutely superb bit of editing!
