Welcome to Roubaix Cam, I have been 8 times and it remains the worst town in France! IIRC Alex Dowsett's Dads car got done a few years back. It is def one place you either find a secure car park or Leave it empty! Well done for being so circumspect and what doesn't kill you makes you wiser

It's well known for car theft is Roubaix. I was warned it was dodgy when I was riding the Paris Roubaix sportive.

I was walking through Roubaix after the finish and saw a little red van that was busted into with only a hat left. I bet a few people get done every year.

I had my bike snatched while I was opening the car after riding the sportive in 2019. Three hours sat in the police station to get some paperwork for the insurance. Great memories of Roubaix - not!

We were at arenburg for the PR23, went to Roubaix for the day and it was an absolute shithole so we went to the velodrome and that was it won’t be going back there anytime soon

Don’t leave your car parked in roubaix… when there’s loads and loads of cyclingfans around.. it also attracts people who aren’t there for cycling. Anyway; hope you’ll sort it out and the insurance will cover damages. But it’s nasty anyways…
