Hi I'm Loui! I am an adventurer at heart who loves to share every step of the way. My travels so far ,via camper van, jeep camper, and foot, have taken me all over North America. I started this channel in 2019 in hopes of inspiring other people like me who didn't exactly grow up living an adventurous lifestyle and who might be afraid to get started on their own adventures. Since then, it has turned into my full time job and something that I very passionate about. So, stick around to see the journey unfold!

Sorry to hear you're feeling down. I'm a Hawaiian girl born and raised and lived only three blocks from the beach, hubby was a surfer, his cousin a famous surfer, we spent a lot of time at the beach. I've been on the mainland 6 yrs for husbands medical care and miss home madly. I don't get off on looking at mountains, hate the cold and snow lol. Now live where that's all there is. So I know how it feels missing home. Thank you for limiting your actives to what's best for William. As a dog lover of a baby boy who is very ill and sickly I've literally stop doing road trips because he can't handle the movement of the truck. But for me, he is first now since hubby passed. I'll have time later. Hope your spirits lift soon.

As an islander stuck on main land, in a city, on the coast, i get really dark and negative in parts of my behaviour and thoughts if I don't get to wake up to the sounds of the waves, nature and all the animals, it was the foundation my world was built on, so I tend to miss home when ever I had periods of sounds or visuals of the city, home is not a place, its sensory relaxation ❤

You could totally do commercials Miss. I'm not an expert, but I am 64 and I've witnessed the birth of both MTV and KZfaq. The camera loves you. However, don't waste money on agents and the like. Instead just try to be consistent (without overworking yourself) and entertain any and all sponsors that appeal to you. Just my opinion and hello from Ontario, Canada.

I agree with you. And not just because we are the same age. Louie you have such an engaging personality. And when you confront depression and loneliness it makes others not to feel so alone. The water is my happy place as well. I recently had to give up living in my houseboat. But there water right across the street from me where I am camped and it gives me so much joy and rejuvenation. Make good money now. Don’t let them pay you Pennie’s. You are worth a good salary and don’t try to take on too much at once. Don’t let work burn you out either. Love watching you and William.

💯💯💯. So many get tied down with staff that they have to work harder to pay them. Agents, managers, videographers and other camera crew, social media managers, publicists, editors all come with a price-an expensive one. You’re basically working to pay them.

Loui, this has worked for me and that is to develop an attitude of gratitude. Depression is a choice and gratitude has been a way out of it for me. I start out with the simple things. I am grateful I woke up, I can see out my window, I have clothes to wear, a bed to sleep in, I can walk, run, see, talk etc. I try to think of 10 things I am grateful for. Sounds too simple, but try it for a week on a good case of depression. Make a list and add 10 new things to it each day. I'm thankful for KZfaq and your vids, love your dog and I hope you keep sharing your life with us. Peace out.

Being homesick sucks, I'm 57 and i just want to see my family, my brother lives in Oregon, my Sister and mom live in Tennessee. I will never have the opportunity to see my mom and Sister again, i do get to see my brother 2 times a year, when he comes up to Washington to check his other home here.. I find just calling them helps.. As you get older , we just want home, but unfortunately, it's not home anymore.. Keep you head up, build you home, in you heart, that can't be taken.. That was the sweetest, saddest little love song you sang for us. It felt so vulnerable it made me tear up. You have a real gift. Lingering sadness is so yucky. It helps if I force myself to either go out on a little adventure or spend some time either on a project or knocking things off the to-do list. I've been thinking about doing cold-wading a couple times a week. I'm not ready to cold plunge, full immersion, but I think I can wade, haha. The folks who do it tell me it really lifts their mood and that's a benefit that would be worth it.

Moving water moves me. Grew up near the great lakes which were ocean sized as a kid, having been to the pacific it's a bigger angrier version of the great lakes but a bit saltier. Would like to drive coast to coast in Canada someday on a quest for Maple syrup!
