I kind of miss old school packs where there were only regular holos but they were more rare. Some kf the full art, V, and vmax are not as fun to find

No shit, my daughter did the same thing. I hadn't touched Pokemon cards since I was a kid, but I've been a lifelong fan of the games well into my 30's. My wife got a Pokemon advent calendar thing on a whim but didn't realize it was for cards instead of toys. First pack was Umbreon. Unfortunately it's slightly off center so it was graded 8, but it still means a lot. We've opened MANY more packs since then.

I probably shouldn't have opened them but...I found Brilliant Stars, Asteral Radiance, and Vivid Voltage ETB's at Walmart in Sept 2023. The guy was literally loading the shelf with them while I was buying other Obsidian Flames boosters! I got some monster pulls from everything except the Pikachu Vivid Voltage ETB. My son opened a pack of Brilliant stars like you did with a bunch of Alt Art rares and I never experienced that before!

I enjoyed watching you open up all the Pokémon cards. I know my son would have really loved to have watched you do all this opening and getting so excited. I don’t know how to enter to win things, but it would be nice to win some things so that I could add to my son’s collection of what he had and where he left off at before I lost him. Thank you.

I absolutely love when ppl do generous things anonymously like this.. usually generosity comes with some degree of selfish desire to feel/look good(understandably, I personally love doing nice things for ppl bc it feels good) so I am always so impressed when I see ppl do nice things without getting any credit for it.
