Saw your post on a first gen fb page. It’s nearly impossible to see what you’re referencing and calling a pump along the driver side frame. Is it that hydraulics for the dump bed? As far as the issues go, did you go see the truck in person and inspect it prior to purchase? How could you miss that frame rot and motor mount issue? I run a nv4500 in my w250 and I use a 1g starter with 0 interference, sounds like yours may have a 2g starter or this interference could be caused by the wasted mounts

Im not sure if you have grounds for a legal recourse. In my state, unless you purchased it off a dealer..... its buyer beware. You might be better off calling it a lesson learned and fixing it up. Could still be a cool truck. I am 49 and I learned a long time ago to never...ever....ever..... take someones word for it. Buying an old vehicle like that I pretty much just ignore what the seller is saying, look at it myself, price it accordingly, and be willing to walk away. I also plan on there to always be problems with a vehicle this old and there always is.... PRICE it accordingly. Its possible this seller just had no idea and honestly, the burden is on the buyer to determine if he wants to buy it. Tail light warranty on stuff like this I'm afraid to say. Like I said.. It could still be a cool truck and a lesson learned is worth something.
