@@thatguybrody4819 Because they did, you either play the game for 6/8 hours a day like a job with shitty cards to get the good ones or pay 80$ 3 times a year to get 1/3 of the cards needed. But this isnt actually something new, thats just how heartstone always was. The fastest way for a F2P player to get cards was to play fast aggro decks with cheap cards but because of the battlepass aggro gets wayy less gold

Just wanted to comment that the new progression system in Hearthstone is hated by everyone in the community. They need to change a lot of things with the game so it's easier to get into for new players but especially the new system that was introduced.

Also note that the new progression system is incredibly grindy and much worse than the old system in terms of card gain. I would not recommend any new players trying to get into Hearthstone atm, unless you are ready to spend 80+ dollars per expansion for not even all the cards.

I don't play Hearthstone anymore, mainly because I don't like the f2p model it uses, but also because I didn't like the lack of interaction when it was your opponents turn. That said, I'll always watch someone play a jank deck for shits and giggles.

@@Jedislayer19 well, hearthstone is more casual friendly than mtg in general. Yes there's a lot of strategy for higher level play, but it's generally a simpler game in part due to the decades of cards and rules in mtg.

Tbf sponsors are usually organised at least a month before the video goes up, I'm not in the hearthstone community so maybe they have been doing shady stuff since then, but from what I've heard this was probably arranged before the new progression system
