I had the same experience when I came to USA 10 1978. I went to the black part of a small town riding a motor bike, looking for someone, I asked two teen age girls about that person, they asked me to take off my helmet and touched my hair. Apparently they had not met anyone from a different race, other than black or white. Thank you so much for sharing your travel experiences, keep up the good work and be safe.

Interesting that my favourite KZfaqr currently mostly uses a language I do not understand but I want to follow and follow. I am rooting for you on the journey to South Africa. Your humility and respect for everyone, and above all prayers and respect for Allah in everything you do have really inspired me. Sad that you missed fun in Kisumu.
