Be careful bro with all that fuel that lb7 doesn’t have as strong of bottom end as your lbz it has better pistons but not rods and it has a higher compression ratio which is part of the reason it shortens rods easier you have a lot of good people that you deal with I’m sure they will make you a safe tune and not bring in the fuel till higher up in the rpm I’m sure you are already aware of this and I suppose it wouldn’t be bad content I just can’t help but say it when I see your family in the back round and I know money doesn’t grow on trees over there and most of all I am very great full for your service for our country I just don’t want things to get tuff for ya unexpected cost are never easy to swallow by the way love your 4th photo you are a true American and soldier

I almost gave up on my lb7 now I'm waiting on rebuilt injectors, hoping to fix the hazing tried rail cleaning with no luck. Thank for giving me the courage to do it myself.

Go with exergy for your injectors, also bump the engine over with the starter to clear the cylinders of any fuel and oil before installing new sticks so you dont hydro lock the engine

Grab some 2 or 3 inch lowering shackles for the back you will not be disappointed way cheaper then leveling the front and you can keep all your leads for strength that’s what I have in my lbz you’ll be so happy

Good call, absolutely correct in your decision and thought process. Had you not.... well.... good call. Slow build and most seem that way when it is all DIY. But you're completely on track with doing things the right way. Now, stop reading and yaaking and get back in the shop... your fan base wants more ... lol.. keep up the good work and enjoy your programs.

Well your welcome, and I enjoy your programs. I look forward to seeing it grow and I believe that Mrs. Truckmaster is going to make sure you and Earl keep on track lol. I have to give you a lot of credit. Builds are not cheap, doing how to programs are a challenge aswell. Your not on the cable network and have a multi million dollar budget and fully funded shop etc... like one would see on television. You are doing this completely on your own and you are doing very well. I am not a real religious person but I have to say and I think you know... HE got you where you are... don't lose track of that. Now I think I hear Earl clanging on something... so nuff of this nambi pampi stuff and back to work. You have a lot to do out there.

Make sure you get genuine GM return line seals. I went thru 3 sets of Dorman and some other brands. They failed within hours and pumped Diesel fuel into my engine oil. I mean a total of 25 quarts.

I replaced a transmission line on my dad's truck right before he went to Alaska. He was in the middle of nowhere when that brand new trans line blew apart at the crimp. It was a DORMAN. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER DORMAN PRODUCT AGAIN. FARE WARNING! CHEAP QUALITY

Hey guys like the work you put out there. I just bought my roomate's 01 Silverado LB7 184xxx miles: Heavy oil leak when it warms up, as well as diesel in the oil. The injectors don't seem to be malfunctioning, not smoking, not misfiring. How should I go about this situation? How do I know it's the injectors and not just cups, o-rings, and washers? Depending on how long the oil has circulated with diesel, can this cause numerous other problems that will require attention? Or is an oil change all it should need?

I have had the Valve covers 3 times in the last month because of Diesel in the oil. I tried fuel return line seals from 3 different places. It’s what caused the Diesel in the oil. Get Genuine GM Seals and I pulled the intermittent steering column and changed that out. I also pulled the boot off for the steering column to make it easier for torquing the fuel return line. Just trying to help.

Well just installed rebuilt injectors in my lb7.bad news is I got a defective one. Company will send replacement but I'm stuck doing the passenger's side again with California Smog crap, And they won't compensate me for my time.

100 hp bro that truck is going to really roll coll i had 250 dual stage injectors in my cummins with triples oh man the truck would roll.coll but it would wast a corvette or Ferrari it would wast them all day diesel for life bro u got beautiful build bro my duramax is going for paint next month

What do you think about Brand New DMAXSTORE Bosch injectors, not cores? NEW@ I like them, and then you can do 100% over nozzles on brand new! However the Bitteroot ones are working for you on the LBZ! Great channel Josh! super! YOu have WifeMAX, I bought my mom one, a Reg Cab LBZ 4x4 LT2, I need to call it MaMAX!

Unfortunately no they are going to cost you $300+ try to buy a used cts3 or 2 it’s going to be very close to the same price and it’s easier to check rates

Smart move on your part. I remember when you torn down the transmission and found out it wasn't rebuilt . Why put all those parts on and don't check the injectors. At least you know know what is good and what is bad. Putting all new injectors now . You won't have to do it again for some time in the future.

GB ReManufacturing is the company name and 1/17 is the rebuilt date. Just did my buddy’s truck that had injectors done 3 times by a shop with there injectors. Had him get injectors from another company, Not a fan of GBR.

Went with injectorsdirect.com refurbished updated body style lb7 injectors. Few hundred bucks cheaper than new. They smoked after pro install and warranty is void after install. It's a paradox because you can't check balance rates until they're in and sure as shit two of them were +/- 7.0 and 5.0 Buy new or flush your cash

Are you wishing you put all this stuff on when the motor was out of the truck yet ? I had to reseal the intake runners to the heads and what a bitch of a time I had getting the couple bolts out near the cp3.
