As a kid I remembered ILCO Company near where my Mom worked here in my city...Saw your lock so looked it up...Founded in 1888 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts in the United States, the Lockwood Lock company manufactured entrance door locks and padlocks, among other things, until 1975, when the company was purchased by the Independent Lock Company (ILCO), also of Fitchburg.

First , I gotta say I love your finger nails!!! After watching your videos I find myself thrift shopping differently. You are a great influence. Keep up the great work and love that you are repurposing your finds and keeping them out of the landfill and thus lost forever.

I’ll take your sincere interest in the items you seek over someone just looking to make a certain profit margin. Nothing wrong with reselling, but it’s nice to see someone get excited about history without only thinking of what they can make😊

I bought a small box of vintage books, super cheap. When I get them home, I find that several of the books have been turned into recipe books, and one was turned into a scrap book of witty quotes.

There are enough content creators out there providing- “what did it cost?, what will it sell for?” There are creators like yourself, providing the thrill of the hunt, the history behind things, and smiles and laughs along the way. We are looking for a little fun, not operational skills for running a resell business. That is what uniquely separates you from the pack. We do want you to make some income along the way. Personally and privately, that is your own business, as it should be.

Love all the cards. I probably would have bought the whole box of cards at 2 for .25 that is unusually cheap.

I like the fact your not focus on the value but more on the history and the value of its appearance of beauty . Money isn't everything and it's a shame people base the beauty and history on how much it's worth. Saving the past of our history is more important then making a buck.

I have never heard of the service star in the window . Very interesting how proud of there children families were in the past . We've definitely went the wrong way on this . Your lucky to see a flag flying in a front yard now . If I ever see one of those star banners for sale I'll be buying it .
