That's the colour reveal we needed! 😍 So relaxing and beautiful! The glitter is a great feature, makes the whole experience even better! The dolls are lovely too! 🥰♥️♥️

I really love the way the hair works on this particular version of these dolls specifically because it gives the option for hair styling to kids that can't style dolls hair as well or as easily, whether that be because they're just really young or because of manual dexterity issues. Plus, the molded on hair is still flat enough that you should be able to use the wigs from previous lines on them, too, giving another hair option for them. I just think it's neat, especially as someone whose hands don't always work so well.

I'm glad this one worked but at the full price point, I really don't think Mattel has leeway for there to be defective dolls. Hopefully they would offer refunds for people who received a doll like your first one, but I can see a lot of people being like you and just thinking its a dodgy product

I wonder why the first one flaked off than. The paint on this one looks great!

Maybe a factory error, or possibly an issue with being stored in the wrong temperature or a humid environment. I bed humidity probably messes with the paint.

Probably not, but maybe with enough push back from consumers, Mattel might switch to biodegradable glitter?

I feel like Barbie or mattel thinks girls or whoever buys they're products thinks that they want pink, glitterly dolls. And mattels product quality is so low now especially the Barbie color reveal. I feel like Barbie color reveal products are made for little little children. The only thing that's interesting about the Barbie color reveal dolls is that they reveal the color under water.

Yeah, you definately got a defective one. This was 1,000% better. The glitter looked so pretty. Could you imagine a multi color one with glitter in it? (Like a galaxy one with glitter as stars.
