Does life ever feel like a moving treadmill? A situation in which you try to progress through life, but find yourself trapped in the same place. In this discussion, Judah describes the forward progress we could achieve by admitting we were wrong.
► WHO WE ARE
We are a Community Built on the Life and Teachings of Jesus. A community where anyone and everyone belongs. Why? Because our role is to simply start a conversation and point people to Jesus. He can take it from there.

Let's go, Judah! Great message. Christians should be the most ego-dead people in the world, and it starts with saying: I was wrong. The first time I saw Judah Smith was around when I first became Christian 6 years ago, at a young adult conference. He wore spandex, gave a message I didn't like (at the time), and to be frank, I judged him and didn't like him as a pastor. Boy was I WRONG about him - and I'm glad I was. He's now one of my favorite pastors :)

One of my favorite preachers has told people to throw out books and sermons he did years ago cause he had it wrong, or not fully right and corrected it as he’s grown in almost 40 years of preaching

Pastor Judah! What an amazing message. I know entering into this next season of life where I trust God is going to provide more responsibility and leadership opportunities, I need to take a hard look at myself and continually humble myself and admit my wrongs both horizontally and vertically. Thank you for the amazing wisdom and allowing God to use you in powerful ways! You are wrong about the Seahawks this year, Go Niners! Or maybe I will be wrong, let you know in January. God bless!

Very edifying about admitting when we are wrong and tying that to the first step of the Gospel of free grace. I would really encourage you to throw away the Message and look into a King James version of the Bible. "Be yourself" in the Message? that's not what God says ... He said, as you rightly quoted elsewhere, he who humbles himself will be exalted (this doesn't mean to "be yourself"), it means to remain humble. The true message is the holy Word of God in the King James for English speakers.

@@blesswillw8629 there’s a sermon where judah talks about repentance. he does believe sin is evil and we should turn away from sin as much as possible. but often people think repentance is by changing themselves and their bad habits but that doesn’t lead to true change because it stems from their self effort. We are too weak to fight against sin, and we don’t have the answer in and of ourselves. True change comes from the inside when Jesus meets you. When we behold Jesus, we have a change of heart and turn away from our err wrong and sin because we are filled with the love of Jesus. That is what judah preaches and I think that’s the true gospel, not that we save ourselves but that Jesus saved us
