I had flakes too the first time I did it but when I put a leave in with it and sealed it with Shea butter instead of an oil I had zero issues. I highly recommend it. Great video❤️

Lava I used Cantu Leave-in, if you can’t find Cantu leave-in cause it’s sold old(which is usually is near me) Cantu curling cream works well too. And I would highly recommend you seal it with Shea butter. It makes it a huge difference when I used it and it extremely moisturizing. You just gotta make sure you rub it in your hands to make it melt enough first 😂

I used the conditioner for the Black castor oil line in shea moisture ...not the leave in the rinse conditioner 😅cause I didn't noticed beforehand but regardless no flakes and it lasted me a week. (If you don't mind the crunch)

Nicknatters I would say she put the leave in first the Shea butter second last the gel because the whole point of the leave in and shea butter is to provide moisture to the hair to prep it for the gel. Hope this helped you 💕

Some of you guys have so much patience. I literally separate my hair in half, and slap that gel on😂😂😂 And also, the side with the new gel looks less shrunken in my opinion

I used the new wetline gel with just shea butter and water underneath and my hair is SUPER defined but also SUPER soft. Literally never got results like that before with any other gel or product combo!

That's what I was wondering, I didn't hear her say whether she used a leave-in. I heard freshly washed and conditioned. Definitely should use a moisturizer or good leave in under wetline gel

Exactly I used a moisturizing lotion first. And it helped with maintaining a moisturize in the hair.

The old wetline smells kind of like a bubble bath to me! Great video once again. Your hair looks so good! I’ve only ever used the old wetline with the Miche Beauty Lavish leave-in when I tried to do a sleek ponytail and though it didn’t keep the hair laid, it didn’t flake up on me either. Now I just use it whenever I’m in need of a little nostalgia lol

Omg the curls are popping 😍 and that length is definitely shining 🤩! I’ve tried the wet line before, it works best with 2 other products in my hair if I do a wash & go. That way it doesn’t flake when it’s dry 😖

I used both separate n then recently I been mixing them... I gt a strong hold with little crunch and lots of movement. and the new one *SLICKSSSSS* my edges and if u put edge control on top I promise it's not moving sis it's *STUCK STUCK*

Wetline Extreme is my jam. The best thing I've learned it that you have to use it with a leave-in or a moisturizer. I seal with oil after it's dried about 75% to 80%.

I have used Wetline (old and new version) over a cream and have never had flaking. The definition from Wetline is always on point giving me up to 7 days!

I've used the original green wetline gel and i actually rlly like it. I pair it with other moisturizers like cantu curl activating cream, texture ID, or a leave in and i dont get any flaking.

I've used this new one on my son's hair along with leave in Cantu Shea butter and it looked nice but by the end of the day his hair was extremely hard to the touch. He didn’t care for it and wanted to wash it out. I liked the way it gave his hair curl def and it looked moisturized but it just wasn’t. I haven’t tried it on my hair yet but I keep mine in protective styles year round so idk yet.... your hair looks nice though and I love the length! #goals

I have the old wet line gel I use it with the Shea moisture curl stretch pudding it makes my curls pop and no flakes until like day 5/7 when it’s time for me to wash my hair. When I tried it on a ponytail it was flaky the next day! But I think your hair looks good!

I haven’t tried the new one yet. I have the old one in my hair now & my hair is bomb! I use Paul Mitchell The Conditioner as my leave in & seal with my oil mixture. No flakes & definition ALLLLL week.

Hey Isi, loooove you and your videos! If it's not Isi approved I'm probably not trying it lol but in the future, I would love to see a timestamp in regards to how long it takes to do your wash day for example. Only out of curiosity or even a timestamp when you're styling your hair so we can have a sort of approximation when we do our hair :)

I love wet line old or new. Ive using the new lately and my results are great. Don’t have to use that much which will help flaking. I don’t even get flakes at all.
