That feeling when Nicetwice doesn't get mentioned- For those who don't know, Nicetwice was the first runner to beat Dream's 1.15.2 RSG Record. The difference is he did it in 1.16, which was later split; I believe NiceTwice was also part of The Squad Sub 20 Run, as well as holding 2nd Place rn in 1.16 RSG

now they add the all main version category with only one run from illumina that is 25 hours long. pretty fun to watch how the mecanics and strats change in every version

There are actually even more categories. Onr i know is prot 4. In which the runner tries to make diamont protection 4 boots as fast as possible. It is used a lot on servers as the end is most of the time already defeated in those worlds. Another one is killing the wither. And the last i know of is getting as far as possible away from spawn. Sometimes even to the world border

No One Sarino yea, and strats are much different. strongholds spawn under villages, you could speed up bartering, and the ss wr is actually faster than java edition's

Fun fact. A new little update happened a few days ago. The only real thing ive noticed different is piglin trades. They drop arrows now, which is cool. But the pearl drops are nerfed. Rarer and only 4 at a time instead of 8. Not sure how this will change the game. I feel like trading is too slow now and the quickest option is to farm from the green zones in the nether.

btw, the reason they do the tower strats in the desert is not cause its a flat plain, but because it doesn't rain in deserts, endermen spawn more often there since liquids damage them.

Some speedruns nobody has ever done: Door% Obtain every door in the game, meaning oak, dark oak, birch, jungle, acacia, spruce, iron, warped, and crimson. Slab% Obtain every type of slab in the game and put them in a double chest. This could be quite a long category as you need to obtain 39 different types of slabs, including some made of Red Nether Brick, Blackstone, Quartz, Prismarine, End Stone, and Purpur.

when blowing up villager houses use buttons on tnt because if you use flint and steel iron golems will be angered and villagers will trade worse. but if you use a button their just like. "go ahead" lol

set speed is hard to beat becuase you can get someone who gets running in 10000000000000000000000% speed so they can get to the all eyes end portal in the strong hold next to spawn

You forgot a really important thing about the changes between 1.9+ and 1.16 speedrun, which is that nether fortresses don't spawn as often in 1.16 due to the new nether biomes
