The idea for story was good, but how they presented it was stupid. The actions and priorities of Mei are braindead. 1)She is all alone in a dying complex - first though/idea "I need to send this data" while in reality it would be "I need to survive and get out of here" 2)The best option to send this data for her was to INVENT totally new technology from nowhere and create working prototype on a 1st attempt and ALL it was used for is to climb up the tower...In reality it is more rational to repair a snow car, or repair connection, or other logical things 3)All she needed in the end is elevation and crappy metal antenna in hand, so looking, that this base was in lower ground, surrounded by ice mountains from 2 sides isn't it logical is to walk out and get from this pit = problem solved So it doesn't hurt my soul, but my brain)))

She clearly valued it over her own survival. 2. That was clearly her area of expertise. Maybe even something she was working on before being put on ice. While some things would have been easier, that doesn't mean they were feasible options for her. On top of that, this is clearly on a condensed time scale. It's not out of this world to assume she did run through those options, but hit roadblocks. 3. Do you actually think that climbing up an icy mountain was the better option? You might want to look up the fatality rates for climbers. Especially if she's untrained. But if you want to go climb a giant mountain instead of a much, much smaller tower to prove your point, be my guest.

Btw there is a good fun theory, that Mei is the one who killed all crew. She put system in force active state to record all data and so when all station went in sleeping status, this project constantly spent energy until it sucked from hibernating room. Mei's bed was the last in a row, so she got spared. And this extra spending energy could have caused the malfunction of wake up timers as well))) Interesting right?))

@@Swoffff i have 500 hours on it and diamond. The game went to shit. I personally liked the characters that took aim, skills and unique mechanics, mained genji, widow, ana, tracer, lucio and mccree. But then they started encouraging no aim characters. At one point Moira was flanking every dps and brigitte just holding mouse1 whenever i tried to contest the point as a lucio. The damn hamster that doesnt take headshots 90% of the game. I loved the game as a FPS with a few interesting touch. Interesting metas such as 3 tanks or dive comp or the flexible style of changing to whatever you wanted to play. Then the new system of only 2dps 2 supp 2 tanks started. Taking away the fun factor. Playing 6 supports or 5 tanks 1 moira. All those things gone.

speaking as someone who still actively plays the game, the game is awesome but the problem is that the fan base is toxic as hell. I would just advise him to play the game for fun and ignore all of the toxic idiots that flood OverWatch.

They just said it sucks because of competitive and forgot that he was going to play the game for FUN when I first got overwatch I had a blast playing tracer even though I sucked ass at her

I got bored after a month. But game is good.

for the new player Overwatch will be such an amazing game. For several months it will be great. But Im not a new player. Nothing has been changed in the game for 3 years. Yeah, new heroes, new skins, new maps and that's it. Events are absolutely the same for 3 years (only 1 of them is changing and even this "archives" event was trash this year), there are new heroes, but their lore is so poor compared to the old ones, new cinematics are boring, they are not making any comics anymore. Thats just sad.

The game is absolutely fun and fantastic...for first timers. After awhile you realize that the "ever changing" game that it claims to be is nothing but a facade. The game is in a constant state of pure imbalance with a focus on lootboxes rather than actual content. Sometimes you get a good update but most times the decisions made for the game are downright awful to forgettable. Many of the events don't actually offer anything new in terms of gameplay and the skin distribution for characters has become wildly uneven despite the fact that's what everyone plays for in terms of rewards. Everyone also wants a story mode but that's clearly never gonna happen, not even a simple mission mode. Blizzard focuses on the money Overwatch makes through its microtransactions and a primary focus on only its competitive scene. Actually not even that, just whatever their Overwatch League rakes in as even the competitive scene is often neglected, creating broken metas and disgruntled players. Make no mistake, the first couple of years were great because the potential for more was great. But 2018 marked a steady decline for the game and many people know that. Sad thing is we all hope it will get better but the evidence shows it simply hasn't been able to push itself to the greatness it could be and it all just ends up as a broken game with lost potential regardless of whatever awards its won. The only reason its still going "strong" is because of the money the e-sports scene makes them. Aside from that, the game is just no longer worth playing for longer than an hour and maybe once a month if you're a dedicated fan. And if you're not then just don't bother
