Pewdiepie's letsplay series hit the reboot button and then a combination of Lore based SMPs, 100 days videos, and manhunts kept it afloat until around now where it's still popular enough to stay mainstream but has calmed down now. Still way more popular than the Dark Ages which was like 2015-2018.

Minecraft was really popular from 2009-2012, but then Minecraft had several small updates that no one really liked, and Minecraft lost popularity and was looked at as a kid’s game. 5 years later, in 2017, Philza, a streamer, died in his 5-year old hardcore world, and Pewdiepie started his let’s play series, which gave Minecraft popularity again. Minecraft started to introduce better updates, such as the ocean, nether, and Caves & Cliffs.

For Minecraft query, It was a reddit post about someone who died in a hardcore minecraft world (You die once, its over) after 5 years of streaming. He wad relatively unpopular beforehand but the reddit post went viral and popped up in European news channels. Felix started a Minecraft lets play to combat T Series rapid growth in the PewDiePie vs T Series subscriber race. The nostalgia drive that people had also boosted by Minecract Monday (an event where people play Minecract Hunger games and later on many different minigames in Minecraft, by Keemstar alongside Fortnite Friday). Covid kept people in their homes and back to their nostalgia lane, the dream impact through Minecraft, But challenges and Minecraft manhunt (Dream speedruns the game while his friends hunt him down) and the dsmp kept Minecraft on top.

Over a thousand people clicking that red button isn't too bad on my part, Jimmy just gets hundreds of millions of views not everyone just does that

@@Cda_HC difference is PewDiePie has 100 mil, you have barely 1k. Jimmy getting millions of views isn't dumb luck it's through hard work and adapting his content, if you're unable to accept the fact if you've made that many videos and not seen any success at all because you're not innovating or changing whatevers causing you to fail, then that's on you. nowhere in my comment did i leak arrogance but the fact you responded that way tells me more about your insecurities.
